And what are UCI and the Application number?

I guess the application number is the one we received in the email and UCI?

Application number starts with an F000XXXXXX for PGP I believe. Assuming this is their first interaction with Canadian Immigration authorities. A UCI (Unique Client Identification) number will be assigned later and it will start to appear on documents with the application #. UCI is strictly an 8 or 10 digit numbers only in this format xx - xxxx-xxxx or xxxx-xxxx. If they have made any application with the Canada Immigration authorities they most likely already have a UCI and they'd keep that.
