Hello,

I would like to pay the fee for my application for perminent resident. But on the Canadian visa site, it refers to the France site. Then navigating through the France site i finally found the section for fee payement --> http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/france/visas/payment_options-mode_paie.aspx?lang=eng
But it says:

This method of payment does not concern:
Family Class applications. Please see: Sponsoring your family --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/index.asp

and sends me back to the Canadian site ??? Which ends in an endless loop :(.

I've allready sent an email to the embassy in France, but i failed because the email address was incorrect ( I have checked it twice, it's tipped correctly)

Could someone pls help me, and tell me how i can pay the fees for perminent resident application (family sponsor, Switzerland)

Thank you

This is for a spousal/common law application, right?

If so, then you shouldn't be paying the fees to the Paris office - you should be selecting Mississauga since this is where all outland spousal/common law applications are sent first.

You should also be using the following link to pay fees online:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

Hope this helps.

Hello, I have had the same issue. I'm applying via London. The London site also takes me back to the Canadian site... where it does state if you live exlusively outside of Canada you can pay online... (and should select the Canadian processing office - Mississauga...) however, I must add, when going through the process of making the payment it does states "for persons in Canada"... this is all very confusing but I think it is assuming the sponsor lives in Cananda...so we can still go ahead and pay online regardless... other "outland" applicants on this forum seem to have used the online payment method too and have had no issues... and I'm about to do the same, so hopefully it is correct...
MDSB :)

I just wanted to second MDSB's "it's all very confusing" comment.

I found it confusing and I live in Canada. :D

Family sponorship application all start in Canada (Mississauga). That's why it takes you to the Canadian site. Pay online if you have a credit card.

Just to be sure..

Me (the sponser) and my common-law partner both live in Switzerland at the moment. We're relocating to Canada on 13 July 2011.

So.. we can pay the fee online at https://services3.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en and select "Mississauga, Ontario (Canada) processing centre", even if we need to send the application to Paris first ?

And yes it's for common-law application (permanent resident)

Thank you

So confusing ???

Yes - you pay the fees to Mississauga.

However you aren't going to send the application to Paris (if you do this it will be returned to you). You will be mailing it to Mississauga instead. Once Mississauga finishes their review (sponsor approval) they will forward the entire application to Paris for the second stage of the process (applicant review).

Hm, now I'm totally confused. I got an official mail from the cic.gc.ca that we have to send the application to paris.
Also the Appendix C (Medical) will be sent to Paris. :: headache ::

Ignore the email. Maybe they misunderstood your question (perhaps they meant to say that you should indicate Paris as your processing office - this is different than actually sending the application there). Sometimes the CIC reps also provide bad information.

Follow the official instructions posted on the CIC site below which indicate that all outland applications are sent to Mississauga:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

You won't be sending the medical anywhere (your DMP will take care of this). You will however include a confirmation that your medical has been completed as part of the application that you mail to Mississauga.

If you'd like - post the response you receive from CIC via email here and we can try to figure out why they gave you bad instructions/information...

I'll look if i find the email, It's a while since I had contact with them.
So you are sure about where I've to send the application? Because i need/want to send it next week.

Yes - if you're applying outland/spousal, it has to go to Mississauga. There are no other options available.

The application 100% goes to Mississauga and in the application you will indicate Paris where it asks what visa office. We've all done this before and one of the above posters does this for a living! :)

Ok.

Thank you guys. I'm gonna send it to Mississauge next week and will do the payment todey online.

Wish us luck :).

One final question..
I now payed it online and printout 2 copys of the receipt.

- What's the Client ID

:)
