Hi All

I'm in process to apply student visa through SDS. It's a one year diploma course and would like to know whether 1 Semester fee would be enough to meet student visa requirement or do I have to pay complete 1 year fee in advance?

You have to pay GIC and One year tuition for SDS.

Anybody have an idea about the "Purpose of Travel-Others" in the section of Spouse? I believe my spouse can write his own SOP but is that one alone enough?

Indeed, we can't attach the return Flight ticket because the study period would be 2 years.

I would be grateful for your answer.

May I know why?

Your motivation for applying for a study visa should be crystal clear: you want to return to your home country with a degree and a set of niche skills that aren't available in your home country. What you want are the ones that give you an advantage to remain in Canada forever in the eyes of vo i.e. by studying French with an administration course.

*Put yourself in vo's shoes and consider what you'll bring back to your home country after completing this administration qualification:nothing. It's a no-brainer for them that you've chosen the study route to immigrate to CA*. Whereas, there are plenty of program already in place for immigration to choose from not a study visa.
If you look around this forum, you'll find plenty of examples of students who chose meaningless courses and were repeatedly denied. Rest up to you, good luck
