Extension of Spousal Open work permit queries ?

Hi All,

I have a spousal open work permit till the end of this year.

Now I got a job offer and I require to extend my work permit.

Am I eligible to apply for a work permit with offer letter without any dependency on my husband's work permit ?

Kindly let me know if anybody got into a similar situation.

Sure - you can apply for a closed work permit without any dependency on your husband's work permit. However to be approved, your employer will have to obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion.
