I'm new in this forum..im permanant resident of Canada.. I'm pregnant and due in feb2021..I want to call my sister on extended family member grounds to help me in pregnancy period..my sister has already got a visitor visa valid till 2024 and she has visited us few years back. Now I want to apply for form imm0006 for her..my concern is she has two kids, one is 13 years old and the other is 7 years old and now their passports and visas expired.. can they apply for ETA to accompany their mother as they are dependant or she has to come alone.. what is the best I can do for them as I don't want her to leave kids back for my sake.
Please advise..thank you
As a PR, your sister can travel but her children are not included under the current travel authorization. See the link as there is no mention of nieces, nephews etc. This is because they are limiting the number of travellers for non essential purposes. You say kids have expired visas so how are they eligible for ETAs.

Would add that as a pregnant woman or a woman with a newborn you are considered vulnerable to covid. At the end of pregnancy or postpartum you also go into hospital and clinics so it is very important for your sister to be able to quarantine in a separate area of your home like a basement or an airbnb.
