I am in the process of filing out a spousal sponsorship application to sponsor my husband who is working in canada. His current employer said he will do a letter for him to extend his work permit to continue working. My question is can I include this with my sponsor application or do we need to wait for the AOR to come? Also, how do we extend his passport if the work visa expires on December 15th?

Believe he is on seasonal agricultural temporary work program which don’t believe can be extended. Also a very bad idea for the farmer to provide a letter because I assume not a ton of farming work at this point of the seasonal and for the upcoming months since that could negatively impact his hiring in the future.
