Maybe somebody can help me. I will extend my work permit but i have no chance to get the Labor Market Opinion. Are there some other options that i can try? I am working right now on my sponsorship application for the PR Card, and i know that i am not allowed to work in the first step of the prozess (9 month). Is there something i could do to continue working at my current job?
If you are applying with an Inland (In-Canada) spousal sponsorship application, you can include an Open Work Permit (OWP) and have implied status, which should allow you to continue working. However, if you are working under IEC, you would NOT be able to continue working.
