Extend visitor visa

Hi all,
My mother has visa on her old passport until June 2023.
She entered Canada on Oct 2022 and can stay for 6 month (March 2023).
She renewed her passport and now is valid for 5 years.
I applied to extend her stay for another 6 month (from March to September 2023).
However, it takes around 200 days to get the result. I know while she is waiting for the results, she van stay, but can she can stay until June (her visa ends on June) or she can stays until September (6 months after extending). Can you please help me.

She can remain in Canada while she waits for a decision in her application. IRCC will then decide if she is granted an extension and for how long.
