I applied under the inland sponsorship for permanent residence combine with the open work permit. I got the open work permit two weeks ago but my passport was about to expire so I went to renew my passport. I got my new passport today and since the open work permit expires at the same time as the old passport, what should I do? Can I extend my open work permit? If I can, how? I couldn’t find any information like my situation on the IRCC website. Or do I have to apply an open work permit again?
