My CRS score in Express Entry is 360. I found myself eligible under MPNP as I was fulfilling the requirement of scoring minimum 60 points under Manitoba Skilled Worker Overseas category. I also have a distant relative i n Manitoba. Now I want to submit my EOI but I saw the minimum score of last draw of EOI was around 600. How these points for EOI are calculated? As par my calculations, I obtained 395 points in EOI. I got Max. points in 1st official language, max. points in age, qualification is bachelors of 4 years, NOC is 2133 and work experience is 3 years, also have distant relative/friend in Manitoba. Can someone guide me please where my points are lacking? How can I improve it? Or I'm making some mistake in calculating the scores for EOI.

A friend will not give you enough points. If you have a relative, then only your score will rise.

So does it mean people without blood relatives there will not be eligible?
