Me : Engineering. Grad (Computers) : 2006-2010 My Wife : Engineering Grad : 2006-2010
Engineering. work ex (2 years) : 2010-2012 Engineering work ex (5 years) - 2010 - present
MBA - Marketing (2012-2014)
Sales/Marketing work - ex : (2014-present)
Please suggest if I can be the main applicant basis my Engg work ex (2010-2012) since I have changed my field entirely. Would it be a concern at later stages. Or, Should I apply basis my present work ex which 1 year plus 3 months . If I apply with my wife being the primary applicant , the score is <400.
The score with me being PA is more . My concern is that if I apply showing the 2 years work-ex (2010-2012) , would it be a problem at later stages since I have changed my field of work entirely post MBA (2012-2014). Kindly help!!

I am also of the view that the work-ex has to be during the last ten years. My consultant thinks otherwise saying the skill is now obsolete and can pose problems after ITA during document proofs. :-X :-X :-X
Kindly help!! . I am applying keeping my work-ex as 3.5 years (2 years IT + 1.5 Corporate sales). But my job code will be Corporate sales manager (1.5 years). Would it be a problem since I am claiming points for the work ex of 3.5 years but my relevant work ex is 1.5 years .

There shouldn't be an issue as long as you have a minimum of 1 year of experience in your primary NOC. The remainder of your experience can be in any field.
