I am curious to know, since you already immigrated to Australia from India, what's pulling you to Canada?
Doesn't Australia have a better climate and things to do (Watch cricket, explore the outbacks etc.)?
family is in Canada and nothing better than being near family

Just an FYI....i went to upload documents and released that we can only upload one document....so have to scan my degree certificates together, all police certificates together , as also all the bank statements as just one document. So if you have more than one bank scan all together as one.

However it did not ask for my IELTS certificate? Should I just include that with my degree certificates?

Query.

I am filling up my PR form after ITA. Pls help with these queries.

1. I was working with a company for 7 years but served in different cities in the same state. Do I need to provide details of all cities where I worked in Work History?

2. During Express Entry form, under Work History, as location, i had put head office city of the company, but actually i had worked at different cities. What do i do now while submitting PR form after ITA.

3. In personal history section of PR Form, if i had stayed at three different addresses in the same city, do i need to mention all three of them??

Thanks.

Hi Everyone,

I am in the midst of the application for PR via Express Entry and they have asked for an enclosed Details of Government Employment form. I am not sure what form is this, or what information is being requested.

Would appreciate your help? Thank you so much in advance.

It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

But...

(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.

Hey quick question,

While creating my express entry profile, I am asked to indicated whether or not I have received received a nomination certificate from a province or territory?

Do I answer "Yes" knowing that it is the next step in order for me to get an invitation from the province I am interested in?

Do I answer know "No", knowing that might decrease my chances of getting enough CRS point for me to get an provincial invitation?

I am a bit confused

Thanks,

You would answer 'No'. You have not received a nomination certificate from the province so, even though you eventually hope to get one, the answer is 'No'. Answering 'Yes' or 'No' to that question has no bearing on whether or not you get a provincial nomination. Getting a provincial nomination is dependent on:
1) you meeting the eligibility criteria for the programme
2) you either submitting an application, or receiving a 'notification of interest; and then submitting an application
3) your application being approved (at which point you will receive the nomination certificate)

In addition to your employment letter, appraisal letter, resignation letter, and payslips; you would need a reference letter from your previous employers for which you want to claim points. CIC recommends that the reference letter is on company's letterhead signed by a company personnel (usually HR manager/representative). The letter should contain your date of joining, date of leaving, salary, job position/title, hours worked in a week, and most important your job duties and responsibilities.
I would suggest you ask for the reference letters now, as it may take time. Also initiate PCC for UK, it may take time as well.

Is this pre ITA or post ITA? Do you filled any employment form?

Hi,

Just want to clarify, once I have the ECA and IELTS score, that's the only time for me to enroll in the CIC website? What about for the PNP, how does it work and when to apply, after my submission for EE? Im a little bit confused with this one.

Thanks.
