Hello Seniors

I am filling out my Express Entry profile and have the following queries. It will be great if anyone can guide.

1) ECA - Got it done through IQAS for my undergraduate - Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) which is a 3 year degree. ECA certificate states my degree as 'Bachelor of Business Administration - Four Year Undergraduate Program'. On my inquiry, they said that countries have different criteria for BBA Honours degrees which they can't validate hence they have classified it as a 4 year program and not mentioned the word 'Honours'.

On filling the EE profile, which degree name should I mention, the one on my degree or that stated on the ECA certificate? Since I have also got my MBA validated by IQAS, is there a need to mention my undergraduate degree in the relevant section for EE profile?

2) Work Experience - I have worked for 3 different organizations during the last 10 years. However, it might be an issue to get JD documents from my 2nd employer. I have worked with this employer for 1.5 years. However, my stay with my first employer was for 8 years and I started my new job 3 months back. Should I mention the 2nd employer details?

3) Work History for Secondary Applicant - My wife is a banker. She is a Product Manager for Credit Cards. Can anyone assist in identifying the NOC? I am not sure if the NOC code 0122 would work. Please guide.

hi..need to know detail process of education credentials verification through WES..please let mer know..

thanks in advance..
visit WES's website - it has detailed step by step instructions on what documents are needed depending on which university you studied in, and also gives instructions on how to send the documents... its extremely detailed

Hi Seniors,

Please, I am currently studying for my master's degree in Canada since September 2016. I used my Bachelor's degree n my three years works experience to check whether I am eligible for the Express Entry and I was deemed eligible. I have proceeded to do the ECA and the IELTS. And also have received a reference letter from my former employer (Headmaster- since I was a Teacher) confirming my experience.
My question is, do I still have to show the same amount of Funds (in the POF) as someone who is not currently residing in Canada? Besides, I have a study permit that allows me to work a maximum of 20hrs/wk when registered full-time and work full-time during breaks. How much funds to I show in my account?
Thanks for your response in advance.

Albby

yes you still need to show full funds,,, you are on student visa in canada remember??

thanks dear..is there any need to attest 10th and 12th marksheets from state boards for evaluation or WES can take them granted?

only the highest degree... so if its graduation, then that. if its masters - then that.... no need for 10th and 12th

thnks stunner..as i have done graduation and post graduation from different colleges, so I have to send 2 envelopes from two different colleges to WES?

and I have to evaluate graduation degree of my spouse also..will there be another envelope for her..i mean total of 3 different envelopes from 3 different unversities/colleges?

thanks in advance..

Yes, yes and yes to answer your 3 questions.

I would normally recommend only masters be evaluated, but some masters degree they sometimes only evaluate as bachelors, or something lower. If you evaluate bachelors also they can give "2 or more degrees" which fetches higher points.

spouse education evaluation is not mandatory, however i would strongly recommend you get it evaluated since it gives you extra points
and yes - her WES evaluation thingy will be separate also

Hi Tanaka,

My wife had 8 months of Part Time Teaching Experience in 2013.She has been unemployed since then.I've added her job experience in express entry profile. However, it has been found out that CIC wants Job experience Letter for that too. I think it will not be possible to get the Experience Document from her past employer. What should I do now? Should I delete her job experience from everywhere?OR should I give an LOE why it can't be produced?

Thanks

mrzabd

You dont get any points unless her experience is Canadian, so just move it all to personal history and explain this in your LOE.

All the best

Hello, can you please advise me of the following:
1. How long WES report is valid for?
2. I was studying in another country for 1 yeah, since i left there i never went back. My police certificate was issued exactly one year ago. Can i still submit it or i should get a new one?
3. Once all the documents submitted online, do I have to send any hard copies my mail?

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

1) 5 years.
2) If it is dated after the last day you were there you do not need a new one.
3) No, everything is done online.

All the best

If you are 29yrs 11 months on the day you get an ITA you are 29. Even if it's a day before your birthday.

All the best
Thanks :-)

Thank you for your replies!

One more question, do i need to obtain a Canadian police certificate and fingerprints? It says: "You will be advised if you are required to obtain a police certificate for Canada."
