Hi Friends.
I received ITA and now in the process of filling up the Online Application form. I need your advise regarding Medical.
My family (spouse + kid) not accompanying this time. Do I have to do our medical (myself+spouse+kid) upfront form the panel physicians before submitting our applications ? OR I have to wait from CIC for further instructions?
Please advice.
Thanks!
@DiNaV is facing similar challenges. I think they are still resolving some technical issues.
Even i am facing similar issues while modifyinfg my profile, any idea when this issues will be solved ?
Hi everyone! new here...I want to apply for EE and have almost everything done - the language tests, the NOC, everything. However, I am currently getting my degree evaluated. It's taking a bit of time, and I was wondering if I could go ahead and create my profile without the evaluation, then add it in 1 month or so when it will be done....
thanks in advance!
Hi all,
I have a question to ask
I received an ITA on May 31st and I have my medical done on June 5th. But now I discovered a mistake in my Express Entry profile.
In the express entry profile, the work experience I entered were from 2008/9 - present, but in fact it should be from 2008/9 - 2014/4
This was foreign work (USA) for 20 hours/week.
It should not affect my CRS score. Even if it affected the score using some weird calculations, my CRS score is still higher than the cutoff score (413)
As this is my mistake, not "change of situation" as described in the website, should I
1) Attach a letter of explanation and continue with the current ITA? or
2) Decline the ITA and hope they draw soon. And attach an LOE saying I have done the medical before the upcoming ITA?
Thanks
Hi Expert,
i got ITA under skill trades but my LMIA was already expired and they still included with 50 point and i have one year experience foreign backhome and i didn't mention it in my profile ,the question should i add this one experience to get 25 extra point if in case they deny my LMIA to be safe with my CRS.
does anyone can help?
What do you mean add family points? If you are referring to a reletive in Canada you just answer yes to the question about this. It does not ad to your CRS score, just the eligibility score.

Dear TanakaM,
I am talking about new policy which is CRS - Additional - PR or Canadian Sibling (15 points). How we can add these points in existing express entry profile. Will i update the profile or make new express entry profile to claim these points. pls suggest

It will be automatically updated according to CIC. You may check to confirm when all the profiles have been updated.
Hello everyone,
I have a quick question. I am checking my CRS score and it is asking for my age. my birth date is 13th of October, 1986. Should I fill in 30 years old, or 31 years old. I already completed my 30th and now I running into my 31. I know it is a silly question but about 7 points difference that will result based in the input.
BR,
PT

As per my understanding, mention your current age... i.e. 30

Try submitting your application before you turn 31 (i.e. before 13-Oct-2017). This way you won't lose points.
Good Luck !!

IMO, if this does not affect your CRS, a LOE would suffice.
Good Luck.
Hi Guys,
(This question may sound stupid)......
I'm currently in the process of scanning and uploading the docs. when I scan the docs normally, with the brightness and contrast kept at default (0 adjustments), the resulting pics aren't clear. they somewhat look like black and white docs.
Obviously when I increase the contrast while scanning the colours are prominent and clear. My worry is will it be a problem if I increase the contrast and scan the docs; will the VISA officer consider it as tampering or altering the docs?
Further, has anyone used Camscanner via the phone? is it acceptable?

While scanning try increasing the dpi, this will result in a clearer scanned copy.
And use software such as SmallPDF to reduce the size of the file, before uploading it.

I did increase the dpi. So increasing the contrast is not a good idea is it?

The whole point is, the Case Officer should be able to review your documents without much stress.
As they say, first impression matters.
Imagine you providing not legible documents, it could effect your application decision. Just make life simpler for them, which will only benefit you.
Do what you have to do for that. (increasing contrast, increasing dpi, .. the works)
Good luck !!
