Could anybody tell me which is the best province to select while applying for Express Entry and also which gives less weightage to French as a second language, as I do not speak french.
I m confused regarding point 6 E (Job letter). What kind of job letter is required. Why would current HR provide me letter if I inform them that I am planning to leave their job and move to Canada. This requirement seems tough to be fulfilled.
Any thoughts how to get these?

It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp
But...
(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)
1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp
2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.
How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp
3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp
4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp
The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.
5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng
You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp
You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp
Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp
For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.
6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:
a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp
b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp
c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp
d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp
e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.
f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
If ITA has been received can we update/ modify the information which was mentioned in the profile created earlier?

Hi,
Just one quick question please. Is it possible that IRCC would request for an updated bank statement together with passport request? if Yes, What are the exceptional circumstances?
Thanks.
Technically yes, they can ask for updates at any time. They will just be confirming whether you still have the funds or not. BUT together with PPR is a bit odd.

Your EE profile is locked once you get an ITA, but you can put the updated information in your PR application and explain the changes in your LOE.

Hi guys
I need help on following questions. I have got my ITA and need help with document submission.
1. For the passport, it says to submit front page, back page and visa page along with all the stamps. So do i submit a copy of all the pages from my current and old passport with previous visas and immigration stamps?
2. For me and my spouse, they have asked for educational degrees so do I submit copy of all degrees or just WES document will be enough?
3. In the document checklist, they do not ask me to upload my birth certificate, but do I need to still submit this?
Regards
Ameer

The letter required here is a reference letter to prove that you have the experience you are claiming. I see what you mean, but you have to find a way of explaining it to your employer.
Below is what should be in the letter:
"a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits;"
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Hi everyone:
Do anyone know of any employers who are hiring under the Atlantic immigration pilot?

Hi and congrats,
1) The instructions only request for you to submit the information page, pages with stamps, markings and visa in a current travel document, so there is no need to submit anything from your old passports.
2) You have to submit all your degree certificates and then add the ECA and IELTS report if you would like (highly recommended)
3) Birth certificate are not required for adults.
All the best

If I decline the ITA and then correct the information in the profile and get the ITA again (touch wood I have reasonable score). Would that be fine... In this case, there would be no need of LoE?

1) Yes it would, but i wouldn't recommend this unless there is gross misrepresentation in you EE profile. However, if you are confident you will get another ITA and feel its your best option go for it.
2) No LOE will be needed.
All the best
Hello everyone, I'm glad to be here. I have a few concerns about my application, please help.
1) For some funny reason, I didn't realize I needed funds in my account for 6 months. I thought i could receive donations after my ITA and present it as my proof of funds but i was wrong.
Can my Uncle transfer the required amount to me as a gift? Will it be accepted as most people use their parents not uncle. We don't even have the same Last Name. Please advice, I can't submit my application yet for fear of being rejected.
2) My current job is a partnership with a family member. I indicated in my application that my job title is 'creative director' not self employed. Is this okay? Also, i don't have a regular monthly salary, just intermittent profit sharing. How best can I present this?
3) I submitted 3 different unrelated NOCs (1123, 2175 & 0421) for my express entry profile because they are my real work experience. However, my present (primary) NOC - 0421 is the one i've been on for the longest (5 years). Is it okay to still use the 3 different NOCs? Should i take out the other 2? How will i explain the gap in time?
Thanks in advance people.
Hi, guys
I really need your help because I can't understand what exactly CIC wants from me now.
I got a request for additional documents yesterday (Schedule A and Travel History), but I'm not sure if I need to complete it (I am the PA) or my husband. It is written like that:
".....In order for us to continue the review of your application, we require the following documents:
1. XXXXXXX - XXXXXXX XXXXXXX:
(here is written my husband's UCI number and his first and family names)
2. Schedule A: Please use the following link to provide details of your PERSONAL history. Do not leave any gaps in time.<link>
3. Travel History: Please use the following link to provide details of your Travel history. Include the days in your dates (YYYY-MM-DD) and note the length of stay. <link>"
I'm confused, there is a colon
) after my spouse's name, but at the same time it is written "..details of
your PERSONAL history.." and "..
your Travel history..".
Any ideas?
Hello People,
Can someone help me on proof of funds?
Most of my savings are invested in properties, which unfortunately I can't show as a proof of fund.
I created my EE profile on 18th Apr and got the ITA on 20th Apr (I wasn't expecting it so early). Now, I don't have sufficient funds in my bank account but my father is transferring me enough money required for POF along with an affidavit (gift deed).
Now my concern is that my bank statements will show a huge credit transaction (or several if I ask my father to do multiple transactions) after my ITA date, lets say 80% of the total POF required. Will that be a weak link in my application?? Rest all my documents are in perfect order...
Thanks in advance..

Make sure your selected NOC is in category 0,A or B.
Make sure you did not select Quebec as you destination.
Make sure the amount of money you will bring to Canada is above the minimum required.
regards
Thank you so much TanakaM you are a great help
I already have an eligible EE profile...
can I have another query? I just want to apply for a job in JOB BANK, but I am puzzled about the credentials that I need to include in doing my account.
I am a RN in the Philippines with 4+ years experience. I just want to know if I can declare my license and certificates in their credentials part? Thanks in advance.
