This won't be a problem. Just explain this in you LOE and get her to sign a notarised one and the same person affidavit.

All the best

Hi Guys, I just finished creating my EE profile and I've received instructions on how to create a job bank profile. In my EE profile, I specified experiences in 2 different NOCs. The first experience is in NOC 1311 for 3 years between 2009 and 2012, and NOC 0114 from 2016 till present. I wanted to ask if it's okay to base my job bank profile on the recent work experience in 0114 despite maximum points awarded based on 3 years experience in 1311.
Thanks

Hello Friends,
I have some queries regarding post ITA please help me in this.

1) I got the ITA on April 13th, I'd like to know what are the next steps involved after getting an ITA.
I'd aprreciate your valuable replies.

2) Do we get a separate mail requesting for Medicals or at what stage we have to get the medicals done.

3.What is e-APR, at what stage we get it? Is it before background check or prior to it?

4) As I'm planning to get married but I don't want to lose my points. Is it possible for me to get married at e-APR stage,
will it affect my Express entry profile ?

5)And if I get married then how to add spouse without affecting my express entry profile and also do I have to show proof
of funds for both of us or only for me ?

Hi,

I have a couple of questions.

1) Is it necessary for me to search for a job in JOB-BANK in the same field as my previous work experience?
2) If I select British Columbia as my preferred province, do I have to land there itself? or i can land in Toronto.
3) How long do I have to stay in order to get the PR.

Thanks :)

Hello All,

I'm planning to put my savings in Fixed Deposits for Proof of Funds. I'm the primary applicant and I will be taking my wife and kid along as well.

Can you please advise if I should have all FD's in my account or can I have some FD's in my wife's saving account as well. If yes please advice what should be the proportion and also if I would need any affidavit or other documents to show FD's in my wife's account.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Darshan

It is your choice as per your convenience. You can have multiple accounts (Savings, Chequeing, Fixed, etc) between you and your spouse, and show all the statements as a POF. You can also put all the money i just one account and submit the statement as POF.

If I were you, i would put all the money in one account as a Fixed deposit and submit the FD receipt as POF. It is the most convenient and non-ambiguous option.

Thanks a lot Deviim for your prompt response.

Could you also please advise if I should buy FD's through online banking or go to the branch and get hard copy of FD certificates. I would like to understand which one is more convenient in terms of providing documents as proof of funds to CIC (online statement balance or hard copies of Fixed Deposits)

Regards,
Darshan

Dear Expert members,

Kindly let me know if the below two scenarios are misrepresentations or not ?

1.0

Officer rejected my application on the basis that funds were not on my name ( my parents provided proof of funds on their name). He mentioned in rejection letter that he wasn't sure i would come back from UK.

2.0

My newzealnd study visa was rejected because i applied for lower study programme in pg diploma . Also i sounded very nervous over the telephone call interview and officer mentioned in the letter that my responses sound very vague during phone interview.

I really hope there isn't any misrepresentation or fraud attempt from my side in above scenarios.

Awaiting your valuable response on this.

1. Congrats.

2. No. You just go to any of the listed hospitals in your country for an upfront medical examination. Better to call them before you go so you can confirm the cost and documents to take along with you. You'll likely need your passport photograph, international passport.

3.e-APR is just the electronic Application for Permanent Residence (e-APR). You need to "continue application" after getting your ITA. Update the forms, and upload the required documents.

4. Read through the ITA letter you got for more info. I'm unsure what happens if you get married after getting your ITA.

All the best.

To make your case flawless, i would suggest you walk into a branch, get a FD certificate, request a bank official to put a stamp and sign on it. Then use a photocopy of the receipt as POF.

Online statement balances might not look very authentic to a CIC officer.
