Hello All,
I'm the primary applicant and I just started the Express Entry PR process. I have submitted the request for official transcripts in Bangalore University and I was asked to collect in 15 days from the University. I'm fine so far.
I just realized I need to get official transcripts for my wife's Graduation and PG degrees/certificates (from Allahabad University) so that I get points for my spouse as well. However it would take atleast 1.5 months since we don't have anyone in Allahabad right now.
My wife and I have planned to appear for IELTS sometime in March/April. I'm yet to register and book the test date with IDP/British Council.
Could you please suggest that I should get ECA done by WES for both my and wife's academics done and wait for WES assessment before registering for IELTS.
Also please advise if I should create my Express Entry application online on CIC only after completing these 2 steps ( ECA for myself and my wife and finishing IELTS tests).
Thanks in advance.

Yes, you need the primary applicant's ECA and IETLS in order to create your profile.
Thanks for your response. I'm the primary applicant here. Should I wait for my wife's ECA & IELTS to be completed before creating my EE profile.
Or is it possible to add my wife's ECA and IELTS scores at later point as well?

Yes, you can add your wife's results once you get them.
Thanks for the clarification

In order to be eligible you'll have to prove that you intend to reside outside of Quebec.
Thank you DelPiero07 for quick response.
Please advice me on how can i prove intend to reside outside of Quebec. Is that something I have to personally move out of Quebec or any letters i need to present.
Thanks in advance

If you're interested in obtaining PR through express entry you'll have to either move out of Quebec or write a letter of intent (they will request this once they are processing your application) which states that you intent to reside outside of Quebec. If you do the latter you better have a good reason as to why you're applying to express entry and living in Quebec.
If you intend to reside in Quebec then the right approach is to do research on their immigration programs.
Thanks again DelPiero07.
Please let me know if CRS scores 435(current scenario) are sufficient if I decide to move out of Quebec or give letter intent to reside outside of Quebec.
This will help me to plan if i need to go for EE or PNP of Quebec.
Thanks Again

435 isn't enough to get an ITA. The scores have not gone below 470 since Feb 2016 and have never gone below 450 ever. If you want to apply through Express Entry, you might want to improve your CRS - getting a CLB-9 in a language test or securing a provincial nomination.
Hi. I hav 1 question
In my credential assessment ICAS stated that my Intermediate Education (HSSC i.e 12 years education) in equivalent to Secondary School Education of Canada. kindly guide me that in EE education section how many years i have to write in the Tenor/complete years section. (2 years during which i have completed HSSC or or 12 years as it will take 12 years to get that certificate of HSSC starting from Class 1). And what to mention in my graduation tenor? Is it 4 years or have to mention 16 years in the tenor section?
Hi Raj, Delpiero07 and Seniors,
I am about send request to get the letter from HR for NOC 2171, could you please review following duties and share your opinion as to if it looks a match or not. I have sent an email to NC-NOC-CNP-GD@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca and asked the NOC code from them on these duties but to no avail yet. Appreciate your help on this:
1. Conducted business requirement workshops with business users to understand business flow, gather requirements and prepared Business Requirements Documents.
2. Understanding “as is” software product and designing “to-be” software product, performed gap analysis on the existing product to incorporate change requests given by clients.
3. Translating and documenting business requirements into functional specification documents and prepare other functional documents that are related to software solution development life cycle.
4. Translate and explain functional specification to technical development and testing teams and support them in the overall development and testing process until the final release.
5. Create functional test cases and perform functional testing and provided sign-off on the release for the product.
6. Liaised with all project stakeholders, developers and QA to ensure timely delivery of the software application.
Hello friends,
I had my express entry profile created for almost 10 months with 415 points. My points should be updated to 470 according to the latest requirements. But it was not being updated for some reasons. So, I waited so long but it didn't update my points. And then I withdrew my profile because I wanted to recreate. Now, I am not able to create EE profile again. It is showing some errors. Please help. I don't know what to do please help me what can I do now?
Thanks so much ...
Hello Friends,
Have a question on reference letter from Employers. When they mention the job responsibilities, should the mentioned responsibilities in the letter exactly match the words written in NOC description?
Thanks
