You should use your national ID only if you do not have a passport. You do not require it otherwise.

you can submit your address change via web form, it will take 5 business days to update.
Thanks Jaybe for your inputs. I did submit the address change request via web form on 2nd August but I didnot receive any response. Also there is no way that I can login and check.
One of the probable reasons could be that in the original application also I had put my correspondence address of India which is the new address that I sent them to update. But until I get any confirmation or clarity, it is concerning me.
PS: Yesterday I received a message to pay 490 CAD and submit RPRF. I have done that and also attached a letter seeking clarity about my address change. I also noticed 'Background Check' in progress yesterday.
I am afraid because of lack of clarity about my application processing office because of change in country.
Can anyone please let me know if there is anything else that I can do to clarify this?
Reiterating original scenario:
I had submitted my EE application while in UK with residence as UK however I came back to India in July end as the assignment finished. I tried updating CIC via webform for the change in residence and address.
AOR: 19 May 2016 -
Backgorund CHeck in progress - 20th Sept
RPRF(payment) - 21st Sept
Thanks in advance.
Dear experts. I have a question regarding my Express entry and recent TRV which is bugging me a lot. I applied for TRV couple of months ago and in the employment history section from 2009-2011 I just put as full time education, even though I was working full time but as I wasn’t sure I would get a reference letter from that employer, I didn’t mention it (I know silly mistake) Now I want those three years to include towards my foreign work experience but I am confused what to do. If I include my CRS is 481 if I don’t it drops to 456. Please kindly help me with it
Thanks
Hi Experts,
Please help on the below clarifications.
I received ITA in EE and submitted my docs and medicals passed on June 10, 2016.
I am getting married this Nov mid, till now I did not get any updates reg my EE application, that's good
My work permit is ending Dec 2016, so I cannot apply dependant visa thro my company for my spouse. I have applied for WP extension which may get approved during Nov.
Doubt:
Can I apply for a tourist visa for my fiancee?
If the above is successful after she comes here and I got my WP extended Can I convert that to Dependant visa, so that she is eligible for provincial health insurance and other benefits.
Will this tourist visa approval or rejection afftect my process to add her to my existing EE application?
Thanks in advance !

Hello Everyone,
Thank you for this great thread, very helpful
I just have a doubt or more like a question about the assessment of experience / reference letters from previous employers, i know about educational documents being assessed by WES etc, but what about these reference letters?
To whom one should go to verify these ?
Do they need to be assessed by some authority?
How do they assess these letters if this is not done by Principal applicant like educational documents assessment?

You do not have your reference letters verified. If your reference letter is not on company letterhead, you can get them notarised, but that's not a form of assessment.
The authority they are assessed by is the Visa Office. You submit your reference letters along with your PR application, and the Visa Officer compares the information in your letter to the information CIC has about your NOC, and decides if the 2 match.
How everyone is getting score more than 430 or 450 wthout PNP or job offer? Does they have work experience abroad? My score is 370 only
My WES is Master's and IELTS score L7.5,R6,W6.5,S6.5

If you can get 8 in all IELTS modules, your score will be 444

So they don't verify these by calling or email the employers? Isn't this a drawback?
Anyway i am currently working as Network administrator and in past i was at a similar but lower position at another company, how does my current position count in point system? I have 2+ years experience to date but less than 3years but cic process could go long for more than 6 months or more overall, so in that time my experience could be 3 years.. how does that count in CRS,
in their crs calculator they said experience should be from on occupation i work in Network field but different designation in past
"Do you have a certificate of qualification from a Canadian Province or Territory? "
What does this line mean? Does that mean our educational documents assessment certificate ir some thing else?
How get one of this certificate?
Answers to all questions will be appreciated a lot.
Thanks

Of course they contact your employers.
I meant that you, the applicant, do not have to have them assessed by a third party, which is what I thought your question was asking.

Your profile locks when you receive ITA, so it's based on the amount of work experience you have at that point.

You must have 1 year of continuous work experience in a single NOC. After that, the rest of your experience can be from multiple NOCS. But if you don't meet the continuous 1 year minimum, none of your other work experience counts.
Your NOC is based on your duties and responsibilities, not your job title. So if your designation changed, but your roles and responsibilities stayed the same, it's all the same NOC.

This is only for skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, etc.). You do not have one of these, so don't worry about it.
Answers to all questions will be appreciated a lot.
Thanks

No. Once you submit your EE profile, you'll get a code to register for JB.
