Hi Seniors,

I have two questions for one of my friend..

1. His EE profile got ineligible today and he created new EE profile with new EE profile number. But as far as Job bank creation is concerned, he used the old job bank profile and only linked new EE no. and job validation code in old job bank profile, itself. Still the status is as below. Does he need to create new Job bank profile (with new email ID and password) ? Please suggest. He is really worried Sad

Application/profile status Pending Additional Criteria
Province/Territory Nomination No nomination at this time
Job Bank Registration Pending
Review of Minimum Entry Criteria Met
ITA Status Not Applicable
Review of submitted documents

2. He submitted SINP app on 17 May 2016 for old EE number and job validation code but now he wants to update the new EE profile and job validation in his already submitted SINP profile by dropping mail to immigration@gov.sk.ca and immigration.documents@gov.sk.ca. I told him to wait till the EE profile is active (as now status is Pending Additional Criteria becoz Job Bank Registration is pending)

Please help looking for quick reply. ......................any body faced such scenario.....

1. Wait for 24 hours for the Express Entry profile to be active.

2. Some people have reported having faced a similar issue while their OINP application was in progress. When applicants informed OINP, they were assured that OINP will continue to process the application provided the following are sent to OINP within 30 days.
  • The Express Entry number/job seeker validation code for the new profile;
  • A copy of the letter received from Citizenship and Immigration Canada acknowledging the new profile; and
  • A letter explaining why your friend updated his profile and a list of the additional or updated information he provided in his new Express Entry profile.

Once your friend's EE profile is active, he can also follow a similar process and inform SINP and request them to link his new EE profile to his nomination application.

Friends,

1. I have calculated my CRS score and it is 439. Is this score ok ?
2. What are the chances of getting a job through job bank ? Can we rely on this ? I'm currently working as an SAP Basis Consultant and have around 4 years of experience.

Regards,
Chiran

1. You can find the answer here http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/express-entry-in-a-nutshell-t394158.0.html;msg5217023#msg5217023

2. If you are applying from outside Canada, then the chances of finding a job through Job Bank is very bleak.

1. The fund requirement for a family of 3 is CAD 18,617 (.asp). You do not have to show that you have these funds if:
  • you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada AND
  • you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada

2. It is not necessary to have a Job Bank account to apply for jobs. You can look up for jobs on the Job Bank related to both of your area of experience/expertise. However, if you still want to access Job Bank, you can have one profile for you and another for your partner where in each profile the primary applicant and dependent are interchanged.

3. Among both of you whoever receives an LMIA supported job offer will have to apply as the primary applicant and in that case if the PR application is approved, even the dependents can accompany the primary applicant as permanent residents.

Awesome, thanks much Stanlee!

For the generic list of documents that would apply, you can check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp.
Thank you Stanlee. :)

thanks Stanlee...

He has submitted his EE profile at last night (30 May) at 0320 AM Canada time (Ottawa) and it's already 31 May, 1246 AM Canada time (Ottawa).

It will take exactly 24 hours for EE profile to become active? or some here & there.

He is really getting worried as he is expecting nomination from SINP and his EE profile is not yet active !!!!

Yes, sometimes within 24 hours and people have also reported that it could take up to 48 hours. But, if you feel that your friend is losing on time, he should probably inform SINP.

Hello guys,

A friend of mine was hoping to apply for immigration today. However, when he is checking his eligibility, it is showing lesser number of points than some time before. I am suspecting some points are reduced since he is not seeing the option for "relatives in Canada". Has this been removed of late?

Hi there,

Doing my express entry with my partner adjoined. I'm reading through all the steps we need to take and wondering....Do both principal applicant and spouse need to submit an ECA for the application ? We both got our degrees outside of Canada so wondering if 1 is sufficient or do we actually get more points if we both have an ECA?

it is recommended to do ECA for both if both are specified in the express entry profile. ECA for the dependant fetches 8 points or more depending on the educational qualification.

Hi stanlee,

Thanks for prompt response... My friend's EE profile got activated but there is some weird thing happened in his SINP submitted profile.

Educational Documents and Work experience letters section attachment not visible in the SINP oasis profile and it saying no files to display.
Same is the case with some federal forms as well (most of them are not applicable to him like common law etc etc..).
His current status of SINP app is "In process"

Are they reviewing these docs and becoz of this attachments are not visible for these sections ? or what can be the reason for this.. He is tensed Huh

Glad to know that your friend's profile has been activated.

I am not familiar with SINP Oasis profile, may be someone who has experience with the same can help you.

Hi Stanlee, I received my WES ECA today (Master's Equivalency :D) and am in the process of creating my Express Entry Profile.

In the section on Study and Languages, Do I need to enter all my eductaion details, i.e. Diploma, Degree and Masters( I got all 3 evaluated at the same time)? And do I need to specify what is equivalency for each?

Though your question is addressed to Stanlee but I would like to reply to your question:

Yes you need to enter all whether it's Diploma, degree and masters provided you got all of them evaluation in your WES report.

I also have a question to you. How long WES took to complete the evaluation. I am waiting since 05 May.
