Hello everybody,

Need your urgent support please, I'm eligible for express entry by means of online eligibility determination, but when I built my profile it's mentioned that I'm not eligible for express entry!!. I'm really struggling with this issue since 2 weeks :( :(, this is my situation:

Age: 29 years

I have a bachelor's degree in Communications & electronics Engineer
ICAS ECA report already done(Bachelor's of science).

5 years of experience and My primary occupation NOC is: 2147
IELTS result is:
L:6.5 R: 6.5 W:6 S: 6

My spouse IELTS score is:

L:6.5 R: 5.5 W:5.5 S:7.5 Over all: 6.5

Bachelor's degree in accounting with one year experience
Spouse NOC: 1434

If somebody is highly experienced in Filling the express entry profile, kindly contact me by private message because I want to go this issue stepwise with him in details

hopefully to hear from you soon
You are currently not eligible to apply because you are getting only 63 points in the FSW grid.

To be eligible for EE, you need to be eligible for one of the economic immigration programs first. In your case (from the information you provided), it would be FSW.

To be eligible under the FSW grid, you need at least 67 points out of 100. You have only 63. This is the split-up :

LANGUAGE = 17
AGE = 12
EDUCATION = 21
EXPERIENCE = 13
-------
63
-------

Here is the link ---> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

Suggest you to consider retaking IELTS test and getting a CLB-9 (8777 LRWS). Good luck and all the very best!

Yes, I have considered your Bachelor's degree and that is what gave you 21 points for education. As for your spouse's IELTS, I am sorry, I missed to include it.

So, you get 63 + 5 = 68 points . You are eligible to apply.

Try to answer these questions so that I can find out as to why your profile is becoming ineligible.

1) You are claiming points for 5 years of work experience. Was this gained in the past 10 years?

2) What the amount of funds that you are keying in? You need to key-in certain at least a stipulated amount of funds based on the number of family members (Yourself + spouse + children). Check here ---> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

3) Do you have at least 12 months of continuous work experience in the primary NOC?

POF has to necessarily be in your name and funds in the bank. Property valuations can't be shown in POF, you can choose to dispose the property and show the proceeds as POF. You can't show borrowed funds under POF either.

You don't need to show bank transaction statement of past 6 months under POF. This is what you need from your back.

The applicant should provide official letter(s) from financial institution(s) which list all current bank and investment accounts, as well as outstanding debts such as credit cards and loans. The letter(s) must be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution and must include applicant’s name, the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and e-mail address), the account numbers, dates of when each account was opened and the current balance of each account as well as the average balance in the past six months.
Please share the source link for the "Avg. bank balance for past six months" requirement.
My cousin who got PR through FSW 2014, only showed "Bank balance as on particular date" as POF.

Please seniors shed some opinions on POF certificate by Bank.
Can it be a simple "Bank balance as on particular date" certificate instead of "last 6 month Avg. balance" certificate.

Dear Express Entry Experts,
in last 10 years, i have 8 years and 2 months in a bank.
the 8 years is divided into 2 sections each is 4 years with 2 different titles but in the same department inside the same bank.
the first 4 yeas title is customer retention officer -NOC 6551 (Skills level C)
the second 4 years is Quality Assurance and Training senior officer - NOC 1121(Skills level A)

my HR letter will show the current title only which is "Quality Assurance and Training senior officer"

my question: do i have to write both titles in my work experience in Express entry profile with different NOCs or i should write the current title with 8 years of experience in total which - in fact - is not real???

Thanks Raj. It really resolves my issue.

Few more questions. It will be of great help to me if get answers:

1. Won't there be any problem as I will be uploading FBI PCC also. (as i have two passports and visas are on old expired passport and you said I have to upload only pages from new passport)

2. I have Masters and Bachelor’s degree in engineering. But on CIC website while filling educational details there is no option to select engineering as field of study. There is a long list like commerce, law, health, dentist, sciences applied, sciences general but nowhere I can see Engineering or technology. Kindly suggest what to do?

3. I have only given name on my passport. How do I enter my name in my express entry profile?

What I read from CIC website:
Log into your MyCIC account,
Go to the heading called "View my submitted applications or profiles,"
Click on "Check status and messages,"
Scroll down to the table called “Correspondence,”
Click on the arrow in front of the message – it will open a drop-down menu with a link,
Click on the link to open the PDF message.
======
And the last line in teh PDF reads as:
You must get confirmation of your nomination, register for Job Bank, or update your profile with a valid
job offer within 30 days. If you do not, your Express Entry profile will expire and you will not be
considered for permanent residence in Canada.

Hi ,
I would like to inquire about Job Reference letters. I have worked in 4 organisations till now. 1st with 6 months of experience, 2nd with 2.11 years, 3rd with 4 months and 4th I am currently working with around 1 year experience.

Do I need reference letters for all 4. Would an affidavit/notarized document work in case of my 1st and 3rd company, where experience is less than 1 year?

Thanks in advance.

Sumit Bhutani

You might find your answer from below libk of CIC:
cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/questions-answers-by-topic.asp?top=29

In an Express Entry profile, should I only include the minimum work experience needed to qualify for one of the programs, or should I include more?
To qualify for the broadest range of programs, including the Federal Skilled Worker Program, you should include work experience for the last 10 years. We also need this information for an application for permanent residence, no matter which program you are applying under.

On Top: CIC document check list says:
Document: Employment Records
You must provide proof of work experience for your current job and for each past position you listed. Proof must include a reference letter from your employer and pay stubs, if you have them. The reference letter must:
be an official document printed on company letterhead
include your name, the company’s contact information (address, telephone number and e-mail address), the signature of your immediate
show all positions held while employed at the company
include these details: job title, duties/responsibilities, job status (if current job), the dates you worked for the company, the number of work hours per week and your annual salary plus benefits.
You must scan all documents for this period of employment and save them as one file. (You must create a separate file for each period of employment.)

There is a similar post here and you might draw inference from this site.
