hey guys, need to clear of some confusion, my profile is ready , going to put in pool now, so after i get my ITA can i submit my profile if i m still awaiting couple of documents, when do i get the file no. when i submit the application or after i submit all the requried documents. i mean the processing time is counted from what phase. sorry for asking so many questions.

You have to create and submit your Express Entry profile first. At this stage you will get an Express Entry profile number. Based on the current trend, if your CRS score is 470 and above, you will get ITA. Once the documents are submitted you will get the file number. The processing time is calculated from the time you have submitted your documents and it has been acknowledged.

Hey Stanlee, could you take a look at my question I posted in the former page? Thanks

As the primary applicant, you will get 112 out of 140 points for education and your spouse will get 8 out of 10 points. For details about scores you can check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp#a1.

If you want to calculate your score you can use this tool http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp.

While selecting the NOC, the duties and responsibilities mentioned in the NOC should be a close match with the actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you at the respective job. You need not match the duties and responsibilities word by word, but the idea is to have the closest match in terms of the spirit of the duties and responsibilities.

Also, NOC should be selected on the basis of the match of actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you rather than the designation match in the NOC list. If you are not sure of your NOC, write to NC-NOC-CNP-GD@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca with your duties and responsibilities, they will help you find the closest fit.

Hi Experts,

1. I have applied for my Police clearance certificate, and got 50 Days more to submit all my documents.
Can I travel to India for vacation after submitting my documents? This will not impact my PCC validity right? Please advise.

2. When I applied for PCC in the last column they asked for addresses lived since Age 18, for that I gave list of addresses in India only till I lived there, should I have included my Canadian addresses to the list as well where I lived after coming here?

3. When I provided all my addresses, the address is correct, and duration from-to when I lived could only be approximate values will that be an issue?

Thanks in advance. Please reply to the 3 questions above.

Regards,
Vaidyy

Hi All,
I have couple of questions regarding ECA. I am a primary applicant and would like to apply for PR under Express Entry with my wife.
I have a Canadian Masters Degree and an Indian Bachelors degree. Do I need to assess my Bachelors Degree ?
My wife have a Masters and a Bachelors degree from India. Does we need to assess her both degrees or just Masters is sufficient ?
Please advise. Thanks

Please does a dependent have to provide a detailed work ref as well? what should be uploaded at the space provided? Thank you

Thank you stanlee
another question please
can i put submit my application while my reading mark is less than 6?
or i can not even make a profile before making 6 in every skill?

Few general but important questions related to PGWP expiration;

1)After post graduation work permit expire, is it better to get visitor visa before applying BOWP because it take less than week? or
apply for BOWP and then apply accordingly i.e. If BOWP will approved then no problem but if (hope not) refused then visitor visa?

2)When we apply for BOWP during that time can we work? if yes then how to extend SIN#?

Thank you. :)

Hello all

I'm just getting started with my pr process. I have a question regarding educational evaluation. Does anyone know how Indian M.sc (3+2) gets evaluated by the evaluating agency? Bachelors or Masters? If it's bachelors, I'm getting only 433 as my score. That too after keeping my ielts score high (just for checking purposes) , and including my spouse who has four year bachelor degree from India. I also included an avg ielts score for her. I know I need over 470 to get an invite.

Any suggestions on what I can do to improve my score? Will finishing masters part time help? I get much better score if I change my education to Masters even after factoring age. I'm currently in US on H1b. Have 8 years (4 yrs in India, 4 in US) of IT experience and 30 years old. My spouse also has 6 years IT experience in India, if that matters.

Thanks

You go to WES' website. Acc to your qualification, year passed, institution, you can get whether it is bachelor or master. You if add and score more than CLB.9 in IELTS i.e. L-8, R-7, S-7, W-7, hope you can cross 470.

Moreover, they don't see weather degree is regular or part-time.

As per the requirement, you need to have CLB 7 for LRWS which is 6.0 for each skill. If you submit your application with any of the skill with a score less than CLB 7, then your profile shall become ineligible and you will not be able to update it later as well. Once your profile becomes ineliible you will have to create a new Express Entry profile. I would suggest you to retake IELTS first and target to get at least CLB 7 in each skill and then create your Express Entry profile.

Hi all,

Any idea why there is a line in the EE application "Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time"?
I thought EE does not include interview.
