Hi guys,

I have banking experience in 2 different NOCs? How do I input the same and do I need to take reference letters from both organisations or any one will suffice?

Also, my responsibilities are not matching perfectly with the NOC. How much should match? Should wordings match or is it the gist or the spirit of the job profile?

Thanks in advance
If you are claiming points for both the positions that you held under different NOCs, then you will have to submit reference letters for both.

Your duties and responsibilities need not match word by word as mentioned under the NOC. At least if it is close to 70% of your existing role, you are good to go.

Hello,

May I ask a question for the expert in Express Entry here?

One of the way to improve score in CSR for EE profile is by improving relevant work experience. Could someone please help me to understand this clearer? Say if I earned an engineering degree with NOC 2148, do I have to work in jobs related to my field of engineering (specifically 2148) in order to claim points for EE? Do any other jobs count? Say if I have couple extra months in teaching, will that count toward my cumulative relevant work experience and improve my score in CSR?

Understanding this requirement will really help me to set my career goals in the future. I really appreciate it if someone could help me answer this question. Thank you very much in advance!

The best way to improve your CRS score is by getting good scores in IELTS, at least CLB 9 (LRWS 8777). IELTS has a major impact on your CRS csore.

For Express Entry it does not matter whether your education and experience are related or not. What matters is you meet the requirement stated here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp.

Yes, when you apply for a job, based on the job requirement, then, it may or may not matter whether you have a related work experience.

I meet the minimum requirement for ONE of my work experience. But do other work experience that is not related to my qualified work experience (or degree) count for points in CRS even though they are not full time and not up to a year? Can they be add on when I count my working experience time? It would be really helpful since increasing working experience time will increase points in CRS.

Yes, you can use it for cumulative work experience calculation, and if you are claiming points for it, you will need to submit documents related to that experience.

Hey,

I might be leaving my job in 2 months.
How should I notify CIC and do they need something for this? I will be off market for a while only teaching private english lessons which are not regulated anywhere.

Few questions
*If you just given academic IELTS... Is general easier.
* what kind of POF works pre ITA? Property in your name can be POF or you need to show cash because I'll be selling it in few months.
* If I'll get a visa for my pg diploma program in Ontario I'll be leaving India. That's why I'm trying to get the most crucial documents done before I leave India. What kind of police report you need? Either I can go to local police station and get it or one from collector? Can someone share thier experience from India.
*I have salary slip from my work... I have worked for 1.5 years and they paid me in cash. I never did a tax 16 form in India. What are other ways to show your proof of work in India?

I have not given Academic, but I have heard people say General is easier than Academic

Funds should be unencumbered and readily transferable. Property will not be considered as proof of funds, but the proceeds from the sale of property in your name can be considered as proof of funds (you need to provide documentary evidence for the same). Please refer to this link which mentions the proof of funds requirement http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp.

You can get it from PSK. Check this link http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/pccOnlineApp

*I have salary slip from my work... I have worked for 1.5 years and they paid me in cash. I never did a tax 16 form in India. What are other ways to show your proof of work in India?

Reference Letter from employer (mandatory), offer letter/appointment letter, appraisal letters, promotion letters, relieving letter etc.

HI,

I am still unable to receive the confirmation email. Did you try another email address to register? I believe you are one step ahead of me. I haven't got the step that need me to put validation code.

Thank you.

Hi Experts

1. Primary Applicant is working as Assistant Professor with University of Delhi which is fully Government-Aided University. All professors working in University of Delhi are called government employee and they enjoy all government benefits like pension, gratuity, health schemes etc.

Hi,

I wonder if I am not claiming for the points for my other work experience( one contract, one part time), do I still have to put it under work history in EE profile?

Thank you.

If you are going to claim points for the work experience mentioned by you, then you need to have all documents for the same, reference letter being the most important one.

Hi,

Thank you very much for the answer.

In other words, if I am not claiming for my part time and contract job, I dont have to put it in the work history, correct?
