Hi! Kindly share your advice..

I sent my PR application and received my AOR yesterday but now I thought, why the system did not require for the copy of my Provincial Nomination Letter though I indicated I have one. Now this worries me.

A friend in the forum advised me to send the nomination letter through CSE though she is not sure if this is required.

Hope anyone in the same situation can advice me.

Should I have proactively attached the Provincial Nomination Letter even if it was not asked or is CIC suppose to ask it afterwards? Should I proceed on sending it through CSE?
Did you receive your 600 points through the system? You don't need to include the nomination certificate as cic is already aware of your nomination - the province does that part.

I'm pnp and have not been asked for the certificate at any point so far.

Hello

I have got my educational docs assessed by WES in accountancy profession. I am having confusion about whether i fall in the category of "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years".

WES have given me overall Canadian equivalency "Bachelor degree (four years) as i have total 16 years of education from Pakistan(bullet point 1 to 3 below). details of individual assessment are given below:

1 Bachelor of commerce (BCOM) which is a two years program and WES gave equivalency of 'Diploma two years'
2 Post graduate diploma (after BCOM) in banking and finance which is one year program and WES gave equivalency of 'Bachelor degree of three years' and also add remarks stating that " the equivalency for this credntial is stated in conjunction with study previously completed (see # 1 above).
3 Masters in Banking and finance which is one year program and WES gave equivalency of 'Bachelor degree of four years' and also add remarks stating that " the equivalency for this credential is stated in conjunction with study previously completed (see # 1 above).
4 ACCA (submitted 10 out of 14 passed paper for assessment) and WES gave equivalency of 'One and One-half years of undergraduate study'

so based on the above assessment, could someone please guide me whether i am falling in the category of "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years" as mentioned by CIC. So that i can plan my IELTS accordingly to get good score in order to get bonus points from CRS.

Your earliest response will be appreciated.
Regards.

Thanks so much ozlis for your reply! it is such a relief!

Yes I did receive the 600 points.

I was reading the CIC website earlier and came across the part stating that provincial certs are mandatory to provide and incomplete documents will be rejected. That's why I started fretting and already trying to figure out how to do the CSE. ;)

Hi everyone.

I'm going through my EE application and I'd like to ask one (for now ;) ) question.
Doing EE application, do I have to list my previous work experience if it's not at all related to my current job here in Canada that I got LMO for?
I'm asking cause all my previous jobs (not in Canada) have nothing to do with the NOC nuber I have in my LMO.

Thank you!
Hi

Can someone please help me with this one??

Thanks

Hi Yampower,

Could you please help me as i submitted my express entry application on 28 July 2015 and received response from CIC on 9 Feb 2016 to submit payment recipt and employemnt letter again by 26 feb 2016.
But on submitting these documents online through mycic, i am getting system error consistently.
Even submitted CASE SPECIFIC ENQUIRY form to get it resolved but got no response so far and calling CIC agents is in vain as they dont have any idea on my application.

Not sure what's happening ::) ::) ::) ::)

Can you please suggest what should I do?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

My PR application is in process now with medical passed only. I submitted my application while I was in Bangladesh. But I have moved to Qatar on a Company sponsored visa working for a new company last week. So, is there a requirement to update my new present address and my new job. My NOC remains the same also my parents are still living in the Bangladesh address given in PR application.

Please advise!

Thanks

@asadjamalkhan, you will get the credit for 2 degree/diplomas WES has evaluated all your 3 degrees BCOM, PGD and Masters. So now get a CLB 9 or 10 in IELTS and you will surely get a good CRS.

All the best.

thank you Raj.
I think it will be great exercise and benefit for all if we put average timeline across each stage and Chances of clearing it (assuming every document in order)

For example:

EE App Submitted stands for submission of application in cic account
OINP PT Notification means Provincial/Territorial Notification of Interest. Probability : high for >400 score. Average time : 1 week
OINP App Submitted means application to Ontario state nomination. Average time: to be sent within 45 days (including weekends/holidays) after receiving PT
OINP AOR means Acknowledgement of receipt - this is Ontario saying "Application received and deemed complete - now the processing shall begin. Probability : ???, Average time: ???
OINP Nomination>>Nomination comes as a message in your myCIC account when Ontario approves your application and nominates you. When you accept the nomination, your CRS will increase by 600 points,Probability : ???, Average time: ???
FSW Invite>>Invitation to apply from CIC. Probability : ???, Average time: ???
FSW App Submitted>>PR application(e-APR) submitted after ITA. Probability : ???, Average time: ???
FSW AOR>>Acknowledgement of receipt - Usually comes on the same day after submission of application. Probability : ???, Average time: ???
PPR requestPassport Request - Comes as an e-mail with the subject "Ready for Visa".
COPR>>Confirmation of Permanent Residence. Comes along with your stamped Passport.

Hi there

Lots of smart people here so maybe someone would like to help me with four questions.

1. In EE application where there is a question about "Job Title" (I have LMO and I've been doing the same job for almost 3 years here in Ontario), do I use the job title from my NOC / work permit or the one from my Job Letter (there was no exact same name as my occupation when they were looking for the NOC number applying for LMO so my lawyer used the closest one).

2. There is a question " how many employers made this job offer if your job offer is in a skilled trade, up to two employers can make an offer for at least one year of continuous full-time work..." only one employer went through the LMO process to keep me so I guess that would be "1" (sorry if it's a stupid question I just don't want to make any mistakes)

3. another one is the "LIMIA issue date", is that the date on my LMO (6 moths that expired already) or my WP that is still good?

4. Last question: In "work history" section in EE application, do I have to use all my previous jobs that are not at all related to my current job based on LMO (the NOC for my current WP has not much to do with my previous jobs). I know I'm gonna have to use those unrelated jobs in the further process but I was just wondering about the first EE step for now.

Thank you!

You need not update CIC. Once you get PPR, you might have to change your Visa Office (or you can go to Bangladesh and submit your passport).

I am not sure if the tool has been updated lately but you might get an idea.

Never heard of an application getting rejected for not submitting the nomination certificate. In fact, you don't have a placeholder for it, so its not mandatory. Some people upload it though!

You can mention only the jobs that you are claiming points for. Post-ITA, you can mention these jobs alone in the work history section and retain rest of the details in the personal history section alone!
