Couple of questions
Q1. I have 2 children (6 year old son and 1 year old daughter). Do I need to pay the applicant fees for them as well or just me and my spouse? And Does that contribute to increase or decrease in the points?
Q2. Does the job experience letter be of any specific format or would a general template do?
Q3. I did an CIC calculator and my points are 450+. How long would it be from the time I submit my application to receive an ITA (a very rough timeline)?
Thanks

You could either improve your IELTS scores (if you do not already have a CLB-9) or you can try and secure a Provincial nomination. IMO, the cut-off is not going below 450 in the near future.

Yes you can count 6 years but why would you want to? You get maximum CRS points for 3 years of work experience.

I am not getting the total of 67 points if I am not having total of 6 years of experience.
Also the experience as computer support engineer is in a Chemical factory of my Uncle where I use to support the hardwares and softwares of all the computers and servers there. More over that company is considerably small and doesnt have a commercial website etc.... is it fine with the verification process.????
Hi Rajkamalmohanram
I have 3 years of regular work experience (2009-2012). After that I had quit the job and started working as a freelancer.
So, can I show the initial 3 years of experience? Since I have the letters from those jobs as proof.
Regards

Oh okay.
Well, CIC might try to verify the validity of the employment. If you legitimately have worked there and you have the proof of that, then you are good to go!!
Hello all,
Asking for your opinions and suggestions in my case. Im recently in Dubai. It just happened that my company closed. So I moved to other company. I am now on employment visa under my new company, just issued 1 day ago. I know I need to declare it but the problem, I cannot assure if I could get a Certificate of Employment since Im not yet starting to work but I have offer letter but not as specific as the CIC required like on COE. I still have no contract because we are still on the process and it will take time before I get that. But I need to send my post ITA documents.
Do you think they will accept the offer letter only? I dont know what to do po. Please help!
Thank you in advance..

in personal history form, I had to fill up 2 years 2012 to 2014 as my education timeline as per my visa/permit. However, I changed my course from two years to one year.. and graduated. (we don't have to change visa).
so Will it be a conflict that even though I am mentioning 2 years, I still have a one year degree awarded..
other question is, in my present offer letter, it says '.. the duration of contract is 24 months...' however, in my reference letter, they mentioned it as permanent full time position.. will it be a reason to worry?
Thank you in advance for you help.
When can you see your CRS points?
You can see your CRS points as soon as you submit your profile in EE system

I guess you can also modify/update your profile after submitting?
