Yes, each individual person has his/her own UCI; dependents and accompanying spouses also get their own.
Since you are not your spouse, obviously you have to use
your UCI if you are the principal applicant.

After receiving ITA, you will have to answer "yes" to the questions about getting previously rejected by CIC.

Applying as a student will not be a problem for EE application but having an EE application could be a problem for student visa. One important factor in student visa is that the student has to convince the VO that they'll return to their country post the completion of education. Having an active EE application is clearly the opposite. If the applicant is eligible for PR then why not apply for just the PR application? Tuition fees for PRs is significantly lower so if your brother wants to take up a course he can still take it up as a PR for a reduced fee.
Yes. Correct. I was about to say this but recanted for unknown reason.
In your student visa interview, you must demonstrate to the visa officer that you have ties to your country and you must will return back after you finish your course (because this is a non-immigrant visa) and as joel has mentioned, having a EE profile would be a RED ALERT. They might deny your visa.
Also, as indicated, you will pay way less for education after you become a PR. So, I suggest you to wait until you get your PR and then continue with your studies.
Good luck and all the very best!!!
Hello Experts,
Job Title in EE profile should be the "Designation" or the "Role" mentioned in Employer reference Letter?

It does not need to exactly "match" the "role" but it is better if it is close. The designation can be very different from what you are actually doing!
All that matters is for your roles and responsibilities on the letter to match the roles mentioned in the NOC.
Thanks rajkamalmohanram for your valuable input.

Hi Guys,
I have a question and need your opinion, in PR application for Express Entry, what is the meaning of
------Proof of Relationship (Required)-----
If I see the question mark for help it shows
You must provide proof of your relationship with your host or family member. This can include:
-a marriage certificate
-Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (IMM5409)
-a birth certificate
-an official document naming you as a parent
-a copy of the inside back cover of the inviter's passport showing the inviter's parents, if possible
I am applying with my Wife and 2 kids. My real brother is Canadian resident. There is other filed to upload the marriage certificate and Family member proof of status.
Please suggest.
Thanks.
Hi everyone,
Quick question.
I submitted my documents except the PCC in September 14th. On October 8th, I received a message saying I can upload the PCCs once I have them and the deadline is 2 months from October 8th.
Lucky enough, I received the PCC pretty quickly and submitted my documents in the second week of October.
Under the application profile status, next to review of submitted documents, it says Provided.
It has been like this for more than a month and I am worried if they have received the document or not. Because CIC pretty much sends an e-mail for everything but they never sent me one saying they received it.
I don't have any contact number or e-mail to ask if they have my documents.
Any suggestions?
Hi Guys, a quick question, my work visa was granted under old LMO system. Will that be ok for the qualifying offer under arranged employment receiving additional 600 scores? When I submit my profile, I need to fill in the LIMIA number. Can I use the LMO number? Many thanks.

It relates to your brother in Canada, so upload here his birth certificate and yours to show the same parents.
Proof of status is for your brother's PR card, etc.

If you get an ITA and you submit your application before your marriage, they'll consider your current score of 460 and process your application. After starting the appln processing, once you get married, you can submit a CSE and notify CIC abt this and they will not re-calculate your score after submission of application.
If you do not notify CIC abt marriage thru CSE while your application is in process and assume you get a PR. Then you will have to try thru Family sponsorship and this process is extremely painful.
You got married even before you got ITA, then your scores will be recalculated and you'll have a new score.
You cannot update your profile until you get married.
Basically you'll have to watch the trend of EE draws and decide your next course of action. Good Luck !
Thanks Rajan for your response. I will have to wait, planning to apply in Jan after seeing the trend till Dec draws.

If it says "provided", they received it.
I think they don't do more than that. I never got any notification on my document either.
Friends reference letter is on normal quality paper...is this ok? Or it should be on any special bond paper?
It has all the required info ..except my employee code..
But im worried its on normal paper not on bond paper
