Hi,
I have recently registered for IELTS and will be appearing for the test in Jan'16. Meanwhile, I was thinking of getting my Educational qualifications assessed.
I have done Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) and would like to know which website is applicable or best fitted to get the assessment done from. Any other related information will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Gaurav
Hi everyone,
Actually i am new to this Forum, i just need some clarification regarding CES fo PAKISTAN more specifically karachi,
if anyone can help, as i will send my documents to CES for assessment, i need to ask...
1) is karachi HEC office sealing envelope for CES?
2) if yes, do i need to attest all mark sheets for each and every year along with my degree or final transcript is enough, as you all know that final transcript also shows the marks and grades for each course and each year separately.
3) and if i chose the university option, do i need to send the same documents as i asked in point no. 2.?
which option is better? because if i make the attestation from HEC, the whole pakage will be in same envelope because i will put the seal envelope in separate envelop along with the application and other documents.
and if i choose the university option the documents will go in two shipments,
kindly reply

I changed the score slightly on the CRS calculator, I realised a high score does give significant push. So one should aim for a very high IELTS score. Let me know of any material you're looking at for IELTS test
Hi bwoodlt please share your materials. I might retake again my IELTS

Hi,
I am still getting together my documentation before I start creating my EE profile. I have seen several queries on information to be obtained from previous employers but I am unable to find a page on CIC website with detailed instructions regarding the same.
Can someone please point me to a place giving these requirements so I can obtain the necessary info in advance? Thanks for your help!

It shud list your roles and responsibilities that matches the NOC, start and end dates, hrs worked/week, full time/part time, annual salary detail in your company letter head along with the contact details of either your HR/ Manager
Hi All,
I am planning to apply for PR under the EE category with my spouse and child (me being the primary application).
We both have taken the IELTS test and have scored an overall band of 7.5 each.
Just wanted to check if there would be additional points for getting the educational qualification (MBA - HR) of my wife assessed by WES?
Regards

Use the WES tool to assess what her education is equivalent to
http://www.wes.org/ca/evaluations/preliminary.asp
If they assess her education to be equivalent to Canadian Masters, then you would get some additional points.
If you both can re-write your IELTS and boost up your score (at-least you as primary applicant), you will see significant increase in your EE score.

Hi Rajan,
Thank you for your reply.
I have got the WES report that her MBA is equivalent to a Canadian Masters.
Wanted to check the following :
1. Are we required to submit the transcripts for only the highest degree (Bachelors and above) or we are required to submit transcripts for 10th and 12th as well.
2. Do all these transcripts which are in separate envelopes need to be put in a single envelope and sent to WES or we are required to send each one of them separately.
Regards

And should these be obtained from all past employers? At which point of the application process are these job letters required?
Thanks once again!
Hi,
I submitted my EOI on 28th October and my NOC is 0121. I was wondering what the chances were that provinces might list this NOC under their "In Demand Occupations". I noticed that Saskatchewan did not list it and I haven't received a nomination from Ontario either.
Is there anyone else in my position? My CRS is 449.

Did you try re-submitting your EE application? This has helped a lot of people including me. I received Ontario PT after re-submitting it for the third time.

How long did it take for the Ontario PT to come through after the third application?
