Hi guys. I've just created my EE profile, however I didn't get my 15 points for my one year of college diploma. I answered no to the question that says if half of my course was in English or French. What should I do? THanks for your help
2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.
Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp
For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.
6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:
a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp
e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.
f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
I created expess entry profile and I am seeing that I'm not eligible for PNP. When I checked online the eligibility for PNP ,SNIP and others show that I'm eligible. My NOC is 2173 ,6.5 yrs of experience ,age below 30, IELTS clb8. Why I'm seeing the message that I'm not elligible in EE and how to proceed for PNP.
Please help!!
NO. Not a good idea at all. You cannot say you are single if you have a spouse and child. That is called misrepresentation and can get you a ban from Canada for several years. You must include them in your application and if granted a visa, you can choose when they arrive after you land, as long as it is within a year or prior to expiry of their passports, which ever is first.
I have a question on this, if someone could help clarify:
- If person A is confirmed for PR , does their spouse also automatically get PR status assuming you've entered their details in the application correctly?
- Is there any restriction on the spouse in terms of work permit etc. If so, why are some couples applying in such a way that both individuals are applying for EE.
In short can one of the couple apply to avail PR benefit for both?
My sis want to claim sibling points for express entry bcoz i live in canada. Am renting my frnds place so i can't provide lease or mortgage docs with my name for proof of residence...can i use cellphone bill? what of bank statement? any body have luck with using this?

Please is it necessary that my husband do medical exam because I will go with my daughter then he will come . I will sponsor him after. I need an answer. Thanks some rules are not clear !
Dear sir! I need urgent help regarding my case, I have been to Canada in 2012 for study visa which was of 2 years but had to came back after a year because of issues in family and now again applied for express entry and about to submit my documents. I need your suggestions regarding what should I write in LOE regarding urgent coming back in 2013 so that it won’t affect my PR?
Hello, I hope someone can help me. I have received my IELTS scores on the 17th of July and asked for re-evaluation of my writing test. I got a new score on the 30th of July. I have updated my Express Entry profile with the new score but forgot to update the new date of my test scores certificate... and I got an invitation on the 5th of August. Will this be an issue? Can I just attach an explanation letter? Basically, I have received the new test scores before the date of the invitation just failed to update the correct date on my profile.
Thank you for your help in advance.

I don't think LOE is needed for this matter. IMO, you just did not use your student visa to the fullest and I don't think that is going to affect your PR application in any shape or form.
If you really see the need, you can write a LOE mentioning why you had to go back, that's all.
My transcript says i was awarded a degree in 2013.
My certificate says Dec 2014.
I had to complete one elective which I had to wait one year to sit for.
I started full time work in 2013.
I went to Canada in 2016.
Will this be an issue in Express entry?
Stating my work experience starts in 2013 will give me 3 years work experience. Stating it starts in 2014 gives me 2 years work experience.
WHat would you advise??

Hi guys, I have a question. I worked remotely for A company located in India and paid in INDIAN currency, while I was in USA on a dependent visa. Can I use that experience in my fsw entry ? I do have paystubs, offer letter and experience letter from that company.
Hi Everyone, I'm a 21 International Student that talks both languages French and English certificates ( EILTS, TCF) here currently in Canada B.C , I've Been studying now 1 year in a private college and turned out it's not eligible for a post-graduate work permit, I'm a little bit stuck in the process of having a PR, Should I transfer to a new college and start again from scratch?
study 2 years and then get a PGWP or Is there any other better way? Knowing that living in bc is not really cheap even the colleges or universities.
I heard of express entry, PNP, CIC, LMIA But I don't really know really what path to take and which one is the best for me? any help will be appreciated.
