Brilliant write ups here.

My application was submitted 3 months ago, the only information I received since then was that medical passed . When and what should I be expecting from them again please? And what time will it be ready according to your experience.

Thank you as I shall be expecting your response.

Hi please am from Cameroon my husband studied in the French part but his degree is both in French and English though French is the main language. Will Wes evaluate it or we need to translate completely to English? Please help
WES accepts only English documents. My husband's diplomas are in french as well and we had to officially translate them.

Hello hello i need help ,
I am working for a Canadian company from Pakistan . my job responsibilities are AR, billing and subsidies claims umder Alberta state.
I worked 40 hours per week.
My age is 24. Do you think i should apply for immigration please help me
It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

But...

(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.

Hello everyone, I am sure someone would have faced an issue like I do. Please suggest me what I am supposed to do.

I have completed my Bachelors(B.Tech 4 year degree) from India in 2012 and worked for 3 years 1 month from June 2012 to July 2015. After this, I came to USA to pursue PhD in engineering and been here since that time. I have been working part time as a paid graduate student for my research project. I am hoping to graduate by December 2019. Before that, I am planning to apply for Canadian PR via Express entry.

I have just begun the process, as a first step will be giving my IELTS GT next month.

I have few questions pertaining to my profile:

1) WES Canada: My degree is in petrochemicals technology (which is a sub-domain of Chemical engineering), would that be an issue in getting my WES validation for this degree?

2) WES Canada: I am also planning to ask my current university to issue me an interim Master's degree since I am a PhD student and use that degree for the express entry profile. Can I create my profile with just the Bachelor's degree now and update it later with a Master's degree down the lane?

I do not want to miss out out on being in the pool early at the same time want to see if I can improve my chances (because of Masters degree fetching more points).

Please advice.

Thanks

Hello all!
this is actually my first post, and hope you can help me.
my documents to open my profile will be hopefully ready by January. and my husband and I can get 442 score. I am currently 34 years old, but I will turn 35 by the beginning of Feb. now my question is if I open my profile before February, the score will be 442. which seems to be fine. but if I'm not drawn from the pool before my birthday, (will be 35), will my profile automatically be updated and will I lose 5 marks? (because of the age)?

Interested in the express entry process as a native English teacher with a masters degree in education. Any chance for me as single guy with more than fifteen years teaching experience

Hi
,

Birth certificates are mandatory, look at this way, how will CIC know that siblings you are claiming points for Canada are actually your siblings? So a birth certificate lists your parents and all siblings, from there CIC can know that, your siblings are in actual your siblings.
Can't we just upload passport as a proof..
There is a name change in my birth certificate, what should I do??

The cut off time is the date of Invitation to Apply; your score will keep updating UNTIL you receive the invitation to apply. Once received, it will lock on the system.
