You have mentioned this before -
Please note that you and your dependents MUST land in Canada before your (and their) medical test expires (The validity of the medical test is 1 year from the date of the test) OR before your current passport expires, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST. Also, please note that the dependents can either land ALONG with the PA or at a later date after the PA has landed BUT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE CAN THE DEPENDENTS LAND BEFORE THE PA LANDS...."
Is it still applicable in Feb 2019. Do you have any link supporting above statement.
Plus, 'The expiry date of medical test' is usually the same as 'Expiry' or 'Last day to land' date on your Visa/COPR. So, I syonymously used 'expiry date of medical' instead of 'expiry date on visa/COPR'. It is common knowledge that you and your dependents must land before your respective landing documents expire.
Once you get your COPR and/or visa, you'll see the expiry date on those documents. Each member (primary applicant + dependents) must land in Canada before that date. The dependents, as shown above, CANNOT land before the primary applicant does.

Hi ,
The process explained here is clear.thank you.
I wanted to know regarding PNP.
How to check forfPNP and keep a track on PNP?
Kindly guide me with applying for PNP.
Any usefull website and links for PNP.
Hello guys, please does my spouse need to show proof of employment in our application? I'm the primary applicant and we are not claiming points for his work experience
Can someone please update this thread as per the current norms?
I was going through the process mentioned here and it says 'You need to register with Canada’s “Job Bank” for CIC to deem your application as complete' however, as per the new norms, I can see that this is not a mandatory situation anymore.
Or if my information in incorrect, can anyone here explain this in detail? I'm currently at the stage of submitting my EE profile.
I have a couple of doubts and I would be highly obliged if you could resolve them:
Translation of Marriage Certificate: The certificate has text in my regional language and in English as well. However, the stamp of the name of the person who has signed the certificate is in my regional language. Do I need to translate the whole certificate because of the stamp?
If yes, then where would I find a certified translator in India? All the people whom I approached were not ready to give an affidavit (notarized). One translator was ready to give an authentication letter with his stamp and signature (but not notarized). Will this authentication letter be allowed?
Just a query: Why can't we use the same set of roles and duties as mentioned under our specific code as all of them match except the last one which I have deleted? Why should it be considered wrong?
The roles and responsibilities of an Elementary teacher as listed under NOC 4032 are:
· Preparing courses for presentation to students according to approved curriculum
· Teaching students using a systematic plan of lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trips
· Leading students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development and their school readiness
· Assigning and correcting homework
· Preparing, administering and correcting tests
· Evaluating the progress of the students and discussing results with students, parents and school officials
Hi, compare your job description and everyday description with the duties mentioned under your NOC code. By no means or circumstances copy paste it.
If u find that ur everyday activity and job description is in par with the NOC then ask ur employer to issue you a letter that states your date of ur employment, last date of employment or if its still ongoing, mention full time or part time, your job title, salary and total no. Of working hours a week.
The letter needs to also state the duties that are carried out by you.
Ensure that the letter issued is on your company letter head and is officially signed and stamped.
You need to follow every guideline given on the below link and kindly do not fake or produce false information as it would lead to misrepresentation.
I happened to see the following blog while I was looking for the above link, there's a format given in it too but pls go thru the above link really well..

Hi, IRCC expects ur employer to issue a reference letter that states ur job description & job profile; so a directly copied & pasted content despite it's authenticity will most likely raise a red flag in the eyes of a case analyst or the visa officer. You may then be placed on 'review required', until they verify its authenticity and are absolutely convinced. Until then, this stage can lead to unnecessary long delays to get ur ppr processed. So my recommendation is not to copy paste. Once u get ur AOR, the waiting period for PPR is gruesome.
So why would u wanna take such a high risk in the first place?

Hi, if the content mentioned in ur regional language is exactly quoted in English on the same document, then you need not translate. You can raise a letter of explanation confirming the above or if u wanna go the extra mile to be careful, u can go to a lawyer & get a notarized affidavit which declares " all the contents of the marriage certificate mentioned in ur regional language is accurately stated in the English on the same certificate itself", it would work out excellent.
You don't need to get seal or attestation translated.
Hi, if u can arrange the latest payslips for atleast 3 months, show ur salary being credited into ur bank account, then u are on firm grounds. Just raise an LOE stating that u have uploaded ur payslips and bank account summary that shows salary transfer made.
