Hi,

Both options are acceptable, but IMO it is neater and easier for the immigration officer to read if you submit one LOE with clear headings.

I am bit confused when it comes about applying for express entry and the province nominee program and the federal program? Aren't they the same thing? If I want immigrate Canada which one of these would one recommend applying for?

Hi,

The federal programs are like national initiatives, while provincial nominations are, like the name suggests, driven by individual provinces. They therefore fall under the federal programs.

When applying one can either get an ITA directly or through a province. If one enters the pool with high human capital skills or a job offer they are likely to get an ITA directly from the Federal government. However, if they are not among the highest ranked they can still get an ITA after being nominated by a province.(Simplified)

To answer your question, if you have high human capital skills (age,work experience, language skills and education) applying directly is quicker, cheaper and gives you more options in Canada.

My current passport validity is till next year June. Accounting for receiving an invite in the next draw and submitting documents and AOR, is there a "passport should have 6 months validity" for receiving the PR? I have created my profile based on my current passport and its possible for me to renew my passport a year ahead of its expiry. Can I do that and modify my profile post ITA or how can can it be done ? I dont want my passport validity to clash later on.
Kindly help so i can take measures now.

1) Yes, it's simply updating your personal information.
2) Yes, you will send the new passport.

Why do I have to upload family passports if they are not accompanying me?

1) IRCC require them regardless of whether they are accompanying you or not. Perhaps it is for security checks and information gathering. However, according to the instruction below, this is for the spouse, not the children.

"Copy of the biographical data page of a passport or travel document
Purpose

To confirm the applicant's identity

Document requirements

• A clear and legible copy of the biographical data page of a passport or travel document must be provided.

Individuals who must submit this documentation

• The principal applicant
• Their spouse or common-law partner
• Their accompanying dependent children"

2) Unfortunately you will have to renew them before you submit the application.

I have issues with my account i am not bale to upload my documents, i got invitation through express entry. the page always went down, i have been facing this for last 4 weeks, it says online services are down. when i click continue after filling up all forms, i did report it but haven't got any reliable rplys.i wanna ask that can i make a new account n create a new profile in it, my score is 431 so i might get invitation till the time if nothing happen to my online issue.

so in case online issue is not resolved, i might have another option to apply through my new profile in case i got invitation.

I received NOI on April 12, 2017. I am submitting my OINP application now. I have shown that I am MARRIED and also that my family is NOT ACCOMPANYING me. Still in the family documents section of application it asks to upload personal details page of passport of dependents also. Can I submit using their expired passport page copies now and later on send new passport page copies? I can write a LOE for that. My 14 days deadline has already started and it will take me at least two more weeks to get their new passports.I have applied for their new passports also.

Hi Guys, today's cutoff is 415 and I have 416 points,I created my profile yesterday only but I am not able to see any invite in my profile.
can you please let me know where the invite will be sent and how much time it takes to reflect the same in profile.
