To be honest, a person who has 500 score in his/her pocket must obtain some certain criteria, most likely a maximum ielts score, under 29 year-old, a master degree, a Canadian degree or 3-year diploma, 3-year Canadian working experience. I won’t argue that it’s impossible. Yet, just a friendly remind that Canada always considers the diversity of culture, languages, religious and etc. as the country basis. This may ironically happen if only Canada acquires enough immigrants and gradually closes the door for immigrants in many many decades.

Why dont you finish your masters first, it will give you more points.

If you meet all requirements and have enough points you can go for it.

It will likely stay below 450, but things change, new government etc. So it's hard to predict what happens in 5 yrs.

Correct, remember a CRS profile is just an expression of interest not an application. So it does affect any records. You also remain in the pool for 12 months, after that you have to recreate your profile.

Another question if i may,
As i mentioned, i am engaged now.
Is there a way to put it in the application? Like common law or something? The thing is we are not living together?

Does affidavit in name or in age create trouble in terms of immigration?
More specifically, I am going to change my first name and only date and month (not year) of the date of birth.
Does IRCC or any other countries immigration authority have restrictions for those who have this kind of affidavit?
