I am a current PR holder. My wife is coming to join me on a closed work permit through her company. Once she is here, I intend to apply for her PR. However, I am confused about the following:
1. Should she apply for Express Entry as an individual? She has a score of around 480.
2. Or should I apply for spousal sponsorship for her?
I am more inclined towards #1 as the time taken is way less vs #2 where the time taken is way higher.

480 is a pretty safe score for FSW (suppose she has not accumulated 1-year work experience in Canada, i.e. MEC of CEC) so EE would be much faster than spouse sponsorship.

One more thing... If she happens to be coming over on an ICT, she won't be able to claim the 50 job offer points under she has worked in Canada for a full year. If that's the case and she was counting on the 50 points to get to 480, then spousal sponsorship will make more sense.
