Normally, Once your Security is passed the file goes to VO for a final review. this review can be expected anytime with in 15 days (estimated as per the experience i noted on this forum) in good faith and issue a PPR email to an applicant

Hi Guys, how long does it take to receive PPR after security passed? I called IRCC this morning. Call center said my security is passed. My AOR is Nov 20, 2016 (PNP inland).

I called the same number, initially it told me that wait time is 1 min, then changed to 29 min, then told me 1 min, over all i was in line for 44 min, but finally asked for an update..it is finally approved this morning, and can expect the mail any time...it is waiting for some reviews...

Just wanna update my Time lines to fill some positivity here:

PPR email: April 10 2017
Passport sent to Ottawa on: April 11 2017
Return on: April 17 2017
Landed on: April 21 2017

Good luck all November applicants hope everybody get their PPR soon and Landed safely.

I'm an FSW-I applicant, got my AOR on November 19 and I still haven't received my PPR! Background check went into progress in January, I got an RCMP fingerprint request and RPRF fee on February 7th and no update after that! Its been 5 months now

Yes, firstly they need to ask you some personal information like UCI, name and date of birth. Then, they will check u your current status.

We are FST inland, AOR 31 October 2016 and also still waiting. Called CIC today and the agent said our application is "In Progress" and looks really good. All our background checks has been finalized as well. There is NOTHING outstanding. BUT, as we are Federal Skilled Trades, there are supposedly no timeline for this stream. She told us to phone back at the end of summer (end of September 2017) We are shocked to say the least. Our initial AOR letter stated they will try and finalize our application in 6 months...
