stupid question guys...as for the background check - does it always start from NS or does it start from NN in some cases?

Mine was changed only once.

In Progress.

Never again it was updated.

processing time for express entry really takes 6 months. it would depend as well on the documents that you have submitted and as well as the processing time of your local visa office.

if you get it earlier, then it's a gift. but if you don't, don't be frustrated. it will be given to you in the most perfect time.

Review of eligibility: Passed
Review of medical results: Passed
Review of submitted documents: No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview:
A background check is needed: Complete
Final decision: This application has been approved

Anybody here whose Local Visa Office is Abu Dhabi? Based on some other forums it seems to be the worst when it comes to processing applications. Does anyone have any more information in regards to that LVO?

My present country of residence is UAE, but m not sure if my local VO will be Abu Dhabi... I have ordered GCMS which I am expecting by month end... then only will be able to confirm...!!

Yea I am currently residing in UAE temporarily as well. My PGWP expired as the PNP nomination took forever!! I have raised a CSE to inform them about my new passport so I am hoping to find out my Local Visa Office when I hear back from them.

But since you got your PPR. Then everything is good. Have you received your passport back?
