I am wondering what it means to have below status updates on the application.
Review of eligibility - Review in Progress
A background check is needed - In Progress
Does that mean both processes - Review of eligibility and BG are in parallel?
Both status where changed on the same day when Medical was set to Passed - that is on Dec 5th.
In a sudden turn of events, I got my CPCO-FinalRequest email today.
This is shocking as I submitted my application on 6th Nov 2016 (Exactly 1 month ago) and got the AOR on the same day.
Some miracle!! Anyways, need to send out our passports to NDVO thru VFS within 30days.
Didnt get a update email but when I checked my status today, it was updated. Medical passed, No additional documents needed at this time and background check in progress.
Could you please update this in the tracker. Also, my application is FSW-I. Can you correct this as well in the tracker? Thank you very much

My "Review of submitted documents" was also blank for a month, I got AOR on Nov 14 and just med passed today(exactly a month). And my BGS changed to IP, Review of submitted documents changed to "No additional documents are needed at this time".
I guess it's just taking them longer to process applications as the holiday season coming.
I guess it is done during A11.2 checks but i am not sure about this as I still have to receive my GCMS notes which will answer a lot of such questions.
If you think that you can write LOE in those 1500 characters space, then no need to write separate LOE. However, it is always useful to attach LOE as you have proof of the document(s) that you transmitted to CIC
A. I have UCI for me and my family.
B. I have not stated yes in security questions where they say that whether i have been denied visa or entry to canada or any other country. In may this year my visitor visa was rejected for commin reasons. So i am raising CSE to rectify my mistake.
C. As schedule A is pertaining to this only i am thinking of attaching with CSE to give declaration and avoid delay.

Are we supposed to maintain same account balance as long as our application is in process? Would CIC contact bank ? And my BG changed from NN-NS-NN, what does this mean?
