Hiii.. I was wondering usually how many days it takes to start background check in progress. I received AOR on 7th November and it still shows background check not needed at this time... Any idea ? I am an CEC INLAND APPLICANT WITH LMIA...

No. I dont think it will be an issue but the likelihood of getting your temporary worker visa will be reduced.

It depends applications to application. Mine happened within 3 days but for some people taken more than a month. Keep patience, all will be well.

my document section changed from in progress to no additional doc needed at this time ? Does this mean they might ask for additional doc in future if yes what kind of doc they might ask? And my BG check changed to NS .

My AOR is Nov 14. I applied from USA. My medicals are still "not needed at this time". I am getting worried. Do you guys know if background check and medicals happen in parallel; or first medicals are done and then everything else starts? If it's the latter, then my case might take more than 6 months!

I don't think you should worry since I had aor on November 10th and I got medical passes yesterday together with a background in progress.

how point is calculated if wes equivalant is
bachelors 4 years and another degree bachelors 3 years.
can I choose two or more degrees?

I have got points on two or more degrees in my ITA.
I yet have to submit my eapr.a bit confused with the issue.

how does it impact if I had to select only bachelors degree instead
two or more.plz suggest.in great confusion.thanks

Guys, now if my employer files my ICT for Alberta, will there be any issue? Does there any duration mentioned to submit Passport after PPR is received?

My timeline:
OINP Nomination: 7th Nov 2016
AOR: 3rd Dec 2016
Medical passed: 6th Dec 2016
BG In Progess: 6th Dec 2016

Not at all a issue. Both Temporary work permit and Permanent Residency are separate processes and you can submit applications in parallel.

My Permanent residency is in process and mean while my employer applied for my work permit and i received my work permit approved hard copy just 2 days back. Just relax..nothing to worry.

Thanks harish. What happens during temporary worker visa process, I get a PPR request? In that case my passport will be with NDVO and how can I submit my passport within time? In India temporary worker visa processing time is 12-16 weeks currently. I'm little confused whether to go for it or not. I'm an Ontario nominated applicant and my employer will be filing ICT for Canada to work at Alberta.
