I have one query. I received PPR letter. But there is one issue in the address. One alphabet is missing from the address. My actual address is VIVEKANAND PARK but its printed VIVEKANAD PARK.. N is missing.. What to do in this case ?? Can I confirm somehow from my cic profile what address I have mentioned and secondly shall I proceed for correction ? If yes, how to do it ??

Really sad! It is very similar to mine as well. My AOR was November 13 (which means two weeks before yours), and everything was done by November 29. They transferred my file to Paris Visa Office and they shelved it for 5.5 months, Eligibility for me passed at PVO on 18 May and that is when they started my security screening.
In 3 days, my application will reach 10 full months. This is very unfair considering that there are many people nowadays who receive their PPRs in one month even though they have much fewer CRS points than us.

Thanks for the response. I have never called them by phone and all of my correspondences have been via email. Care to explain what number to use?
I have heard that you can call them by using this number (+1 613-944-4000), then you choose 1, 1, 1, and then, 7, and finally 0. Can you please confirm if this is true? Moreover, did you use Skype? And how many times did you try until the call went through?
As for mandamus, any idea how to do it? Should we contact lawyers in Canada and are there specialists who do it? Care to shed some more light on this, like how much would it cost, how long would the process take, the likelihood of success?
I fully share your frustration! The worst part is a lack of proper clarification and communication. They don't tell us who might get chosen for SS, or why, or once you are chosen, how long it will take, or basically anything meaningful, an that is really frustrating and shows that this system has some serious flaws. Now we are left with nothing but waiting, and even worse, we don't know for how long we should wait, it could be another month or another year.
