Guys, my Medical is passed today (after 49 days), and Background check changed to In Progess. What does this mean? Review of eligibility is still in "Review in Progress".

These daus ghost emails r getting very rare.... after a long time somebody reported about same

They are not ghost e-mails. They say you application has been updated like any changes in medicals status, background check status.
Usually these mails comes after 1 day of actual change in your mycic account

Do not worry review of eligibility will remain in progress during most of your application processing.

Not exactly...

IF you get an email now and bgchk changes in 24 hrs or 48 hrs -and that email asks for no info then thats a ghost update..if it does then that ghost requiring info is cic..

Sometimes bg chk changes also trigger that email (means someone is working on your file currently) but again

No info=ghost
Info=cic ghost

Till date i have not recieved any email... not even for medicals.... its been 2 months no update since then. I feel there is no pattern. Every officer has its own way of processing application... till the time days are passing and review is in progress... we should remain happy... no news is good news is the golden rules for Canadian immigration... there is no pattern at all
