Express Entry - e-APR Submitted in November 2016

Hi guys,
I have received ITA and completing my profile for submission. I have following query:
My passport only has my first name (surname is blank on the passport) while my degree certificates and work experience letters have my full name and surname. I have prepared an affidavit to explain this discrepancy.
While completing the profile, there is a question, "Has this person ever used any other name?"
Should I answer this as Yes? My understanding is its only valid for name changes and I haven't changed my name.

You should answer NO and explain this in a LOE. You can get a "One and the same person" affidavit to show that the different names on various documents all belong to the same person.

seniors/experts- please advise.
i submitted application on 16th November, AOR on the same day. its been a month and there is no movement in the status...still shows the Review of eligibility in progress- i see most of the Nov applicants who got AOR already got their medicals and BG in progress- is something wrong with my application- should i contact IRCC?

please advise...

HI Raj - Could you add country of residence to the spreadsheet if available? Would be nice to know if there is a trend for certain VOs/Country of Residence etc.

Hi, you can contact fingerprinting agencies in your city who deals with RCMP certificate. They take your fingerprints and send them to their agencies in Canada who digitizes your prints and applies for the certificate on your behalf.

hmm interesting, my med passed yesterday, and BG Check went to "In Progress".
I checked my application status a few minutes ago, and BG check now shows Not Needed.

I did receive a ghost email last night.

Does that mean the R10 check has finished? Or they actually haven't started looking at my application.

AOR received- 7th november
Medical passed-30th november
Additional docs Schedule A and travel history form requested on 6th december ( submitted on same day)

When i checked today it says background check is not needed at this time.... ( i dont know whether it went into progress and then it changed into not needed at this time)...... can anyone tell me what will happen next ? did i passed R10 ? Any help will be highly appreciated.. thanx
