I received the same request letter to submit schedule 4 and schedule 4a, while I have applied for Skilled Worker category too . You submitted a letter instead of 4A, was it accepted by CIC? or any issues.
EE AOR. December 3rd
Review of medical results. Not Needed at this time.
S4-S4a/LOE. Request and submit. December 9th
I have notice that some already have status review in process or passed in medical section but in my case still shows Not needed at this time. I click on the question mark and status Not needed at this time means we have not yet received an application for permanent residence.
I am a little bit worried because for me it does not make any sense. I dont know if is a system issue becuase by the time I was
requested S4-S4a/LOE CIC system was down for almost 10 days, so I dont know if status was not updated.
But I have few questions about sending my passport from USA to OTTAWA.
1) What should I use for return envelope? Which carrier? I went to USPS but they said they cannot give the return envelope as its coming from CANADA.
2) Can I use fedex or UPS or anything else?
I owe a lot to this group. It has helped me throughout my process. I finally got my PPR after almost 6 months. Below is my timeline:
COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE: USA
JUL 20 ITA FSW-Outland (454 pts)
JUL 28 AOR
AUG 10 Med Passed
AUG 24 Schedule-A Requested
AUG 26 Schedule-A Submitted
DEC 30 Passport Request Email - PPR
I need help with the following:
1) What should I use for return envelope? Which carrier? I went to USPS but they said they cannot give the return envelope as its coming from CANADA.
2) Can I use fedex or UPS or anything else?
aaruhani, did you notice any changes with your BG check during your process? A lot of people saying that theirs turned to 'not needed at this time' from 'in progress'. If that happened to you, how many months have passed ever since before you received your PPR?
Wondering if the scanned documents must be in full color or is b&W accepted by cic?
I was thinking I can scan everything in greyscale except for passport pages (as its difficult to decode stamps in B&W) . Please advise. I tried to read through CIC website but couldn't find anything specific regarding this aspect. Thanks so much!!

I believe color is OK. Especially if the originals are in color, then it is better to stick to colored scans. If scanned PDF size is your concern, then you can use a service like https://www.pdfcompress.com/ to reduce it's size.

Congrats on the PPR. I suggest using FedEx priority for shipping. I have used it a number of times - no problems so far. Maybe you can get a return envelop from them too, but double check what service to use for return (ask CIC if need be).
