What's happening with SPVO? Where are the PPRs for the folks waiting since november?! This is so frustrating, I've lost the will to check my account... I guess I'll start again in August...
G126, you still haven't gotten your notes or just forgot to update your signature? I'm hoping it's the second option!

I know right? There has been a general slow down but SPVO (with a few exceptions) has always been quite slow :-(
I've actually lost the will to check my account about 6 weeks ago when my notes became delayed... The forum too as seeing everyone talk about PPRs was not doing any good to my anxiety levels, I log in now to answer PMs and certain threads.
And no, I still have not received my notes! I've given up on my second set and hopefully my third set (ordered April 13th) is just around the corner...

My second GCMS may arrive until next week. Either way, SPVO has recently answered me: given I crossed the 6-month mark, seems they are still waiting on some info (BG?) and I will probably receive an update this month.
My BG status is still "not applicable", but I truly believe I'll get the PPR over the next 2 weeks.
g126, I was feeling the same: anxiety at top levels. I am relaxing a little bit and trying not to access the forum the same way I used to before...

Well at least you're entitled to get some sort of explanation from them with regards to your file since you're now overdue. I'm really cheering for you (and everyone else a head of me) so that they can focus their attention on me ;-) hehehehehe.
So I actually received my third set of notes (my second set is still pending) yesterday evening. My file was transferred to SPVO in the 18th of Feb (one day after a APPEARS TO MEET REQUIREMENTS recommendation on A11.2).
The odd thing about my file is this, in the "Organization and Entities" under "Associations" I have a redacted page mentioning section 16(1)(c)... Does anyone else here have a similar situation?
Or better yet, do any of you who have GCMS notes have anything written under "Organization and Entities" (within "Associations")? I'd REALLY like to know what kind of things they write in that section.
Well, 16(1)(C) appeared on my GCMS notes on the same session as yours, but from what I've heard it's not a problem, they are just hiding some sources they get our info from...
Next week I'll cross the 6 month mark too, and anxiety is killling me.... DHVS, please let us know as soon as you get any news. I guess I'm next after your PPR, at least if there is any chronology.

Just realized I made a huge mistake and sent the wrong PCC... I sent the state one instead of the federal... what should I do? Enough time to send the correct one? My AOR is april 18th

Sad indeed! And the saddest thing is we don't know who is to blame...
We'd all like to blame SPVO, but in truth is it their fault or is it security? I've heard that Brazil is notoriously bad at sharing security information with other countries and that this is the main reason for our delay.
We've seen some recent cases where SPVO has issued visas in under three months and then we have two cases that has just crossed the 6 month mark...
We know then that SPVO can work quickly given the right conditions, but why isn't that the case with all PPRs? I'm now leaning towards the security issue...

Thanks for sharing... apparently they use third parties to investigate our employment records, so I'd wager all Brazilians (and plenty of other nationals too) probably have this investigation at some stage. Routine really, so nothing to worry about I think.
Good luck with your PPR and let us know as soon as you get it
