Need some advise...Can i apply for a work permit (new employer) with valid LMO inside Canada even if my TRV is already expired? I have my current WP which will expire on 2014.

Yes. You need a valid TRV if you intend to exit Canada and re-enter.

TRV is related to exiting and re-entering Canada only.

As long as the WP is valid so you have the right to stay.
 
Hi guys, this is my situation am hoping to get some pointers here. I have a job in my field and on a work permit tied to that job based on the pnp extended wp. I have done my medical as of 2weeks
Ago. Now my problem is that i want to visit the uk i already got my uk visa but my trv is expired. It takes 90 days to apply from ottawa but same day to apply from the uk. My work permit is valid till sept 2014. I have a valid us visa too. My fear is will i be allowed into the uk? I already bought my ticket before it occured to me. I think worst case senario i can fly to the us to gain entry back to canada. Pls input guy.
 
without TRV you can not enter canada again .. you should wait to get TRV and then travel
 
thanks a lot ! therefore i need to apply for a TRV coz' I'm planning to have a vacation back home next year.

yeah better to have TRV as it can be used also in case on emergency.
