Hey,
Thanks, wonderful to hear. Did u receive the letter by post or in your account? Becoz when I and others (I think) applied for a PGWP extension, we just received application received confirmation in our accounts. Can you please specify !!
I have called to CIC they mentioned that if your work permit isn’t expired yet then you only received applications received letter and also you can keep working until application in process.

Question I'm about to send my PR documentation but meanwhile I need to extend my WP I have two option apply at the border (because I will get the permit right away) which may have some risks or I can apply to this new policy of PGWP. I wonder if I apply to extend my PGWP CIC wont see in good eyes because it meant to be for those who have difficulties to find a job not qualify for my case.

The open work permit under the new public policy is not for those who find it difficult looking for job because of covid.
The policy say current or former pgwp holders are qualified to apply. If pgwp is expired you can apply and if you hold a valid pgwp and is 4 months to expire you can also apply.
Please read the policy carefully and stop confusing people.
Thanks

I'm not confusing people that is what I thought. You should stop make assumptions from what you understand.
For me, this was a new policy to help International students that couldn't find a job that's all.
Since I'm already nominated I was under the impression This new police wasn't ideal for me.
We've seen a few people get lucky on this forum and have work permits issued. We've seen a lot more get turned away. Officially the IRCC statement is that work permits applications aren't being processed at the border at this time. Having said that, you can certainly have a go.

I don't know. I would need more information about your status in Canada now, how you have applied for PR, what stage you are in for the PR application process, etc.

Apply under the new policy and you will be on implied status after your permit expires if your new application has not been approved yet.
My permit expires in May and I have already applied for work permit under the new policy
