Expired passport only

Hi,

When submitting my citizenship application, is it ok if I dont have a current passport?

I only have a passport expired on last August, I didnt renew it.

Yes it is ok but you have to answer the question on the application where it states that why your passport doesn’t cover all the 5 years eligible period. You can simply answer that you had no plans to travel outside of Canada.
