I have a question to all experts on Canada PR process. I recently applied (Nov'09 )for Canada PR process under Federal Skilled work experience class. I have M.S in Chemical Engineering and worked for 6 years in a Chemical Industry. I applied under NOC 9212 which is one of the 38 occupations listed. I am currently in Canada in student status doing Supply Chain Management which started in Jan'10. I applied in Category 1 (FSW with at least 1 year full of experience in 38 occupations) as I don't want to wait for 1 year to apply as International student which is Category 3. I recently got a letter from CIC-Sydney,NS asking me to resubmit document which is in my case is " proof of enrollment in an educational institution".
My question is Why did they ask me to submit enrollment proof when I didn't submit as International student? Are they thinking that I am submitting as International student even though in FSW application I didn't apply under Category 3 but applied in Category 1? If they are thinking that I am applying in International student then I have to wait for 12 months but they didn't ask any proof of 12 months stay for me.
My 2nd question is If I submit the proof of enrollment will that be enough and will be approved for 2nd stage ?
Are there any people who were asked to resubmit any documents in 2nd time too?
