Dear Experts:
My Status is showing "In Process", I am having one query What docs they can ask after status changed to "In Process"?
What does "In Process Means"? I have listened that When ones ecas shows "In Process" then he is eligible for process, meet 67 points criteria, all the docs in order in therms of their date of validity, only authenticity has to be checked, No more docs to be required? Only back ground checking in on?
I am having doubt that I file my initial application to NS on 8/1/10 and my IELTS got expired on 15/1/10 and now my ecas is showing "In Process". 120 days expired on 1st of July-10, Could they asked for fresh IELTS? Because If they ask in this stage may be I would not be able to get IELTS exam date booked or if I get it then would not be able to submit before 120 days time line?
Kindly suggest?
Thanks

Your file is eligible for processing under FSW. They can still ask for more documents if they want but it means with the current documents they have started the processing in if in further processing they need anything they will ask

Dear rocky272727,
I could not get you. What do you mean to say they can ask to retake the IELTS again? But what about 120 days dead line? would they further give more time to submit the IELTS result becoz it needs more time otherwise how would I be able to get it retake and submit? Kindly make me understand? I am worried after your comments?
Thanks

My mistake as I was not very clear in my opinion.
See while processing your file, they may ask for PCC, clarification on something, very very rare (More supporting documents for work experience).
They will not ask you to re take IELTS again. Once the proof is submitted they will evaluate it as it is whether it was IELTS or a written submission to prove the language ability.
Hope I am clear. If not ask me any question you have.
Thanks some more opinion from other members?

I agree with Rocky...I have never heard CIC asking an applicant to retake the exam and submit the results......

But if IELTS is older than one year? than what would they do accept it or ask for fresher one?
How ever it was not expired at the time initial docs submission to CIC, NS? But as per visa office instruction "It should not be older than one year upon submission" I am confused please enlighten me?
Thanks
I have heard that they might ask you to do your medicals or obtain a police report if either of them have expired from the day it was submitted...IETLS is to measure your english knowledge..so unless the VISA office thinks that your english knowledge as gone down since then..they will not want you to retake the exam.......
Worst case scenario..even if they do ask..they will allow you time to do it..if not you can always get an extension to submit your documents....
Dont stress over it..
