Experience letter from employer

Hi All,

I am planning to apply Canada Federal skilled workers visa under Software Engineer category. But I am not able to get experience letter from my employer. I have only the following documents.

Current Employer:

> Appointment Letter
> Pay slip
> Bank statement
> Tax acknowledgement
> Bonafied letter from HR stated I am still working in that company

From Previous Employer

> Appointment Letter
> Experience Letter (Mentioned only joint date, relieving date, designation)
> Relieving Letter (Mentioned only joint date, relieving date)
> Pay slip
> Bank statement
> Tax acknowledgement

Will CIC accept these documents? If not, is there any other option to show the roles and responsibilty of my job as per the CIC requirement?

you can take a letter from your manager/HR/employer clearly stating your complete ROLES/hours/title/pay scale. all the above documents are fine. but make sure you get the roles letter.

Do we need roles and responsibilities mentioned in each of the work experience letters from the previous companies .

or the present one is enough .

Yes, you do need roles and duties mentioned from EACH specific job you've had in the past.

This may sound a too generic question.

How easy it is to get such a detailed experience letter from the employers ?( I do have the standard experience letters from my previous companies)

if any one could share their experience or advice how to approach , I would be very grateful .

All the four companies i worked with are MNC's.

and for the worst case scenario if I am unable to get the detailed letters , what is the alternative .

The problem here is, I am not able to get the reference letters from employer as per CIC requirements (roles, pay, hours of working, etc).

Is there any other alternative way to prove my work experience like affidavit from my senior or self affidavit??

A senior, can be your Manager/HR. Make sure you get the ROLES/PAY/HOURS on COMPANY's LETTER HEAD !!!

The employer is not ready to provide such a letter from COMPANY's LETTER HEAD.

I have only a payslip and standard experience letter from my previous employer which states designation, date of joining and relieving date.


IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY LIKE SELF AFFIDAVIT TO SHOW MY ROLES/PAY/HOURS ?
