I joined the company on January 2019 and after working till June 2019 I went on MAT leave. After completing my MAT leave I will be joining the same company. Will my experience count or not. As this is still my active employment company.

How can you consider experience a period of 1 year when you haven't done any work whatsoever?
The word "LEAVE" should be enough to make you aware that this is not experience.
The fact that you are still an employee and have kept your job and are still getting partial salary doesn't mean that you acquired any experience during your LEAVE.
You still need to work for another ≈7 months before you can say you've earnt a year's worth of experience in Canada.

You should modify your profile and add an end date since your started working until you went on leave.
And then again add another period without end date once you come back.
Else you are going to keep receiving invitations.... The fact that you are still in payroll doesn't mean you've been gaining experience.
You need to provide additional proof besides experience letter, including paystubs etc, your EI might even be paying for part of your salary while you are on leave.
Have you been working since you went on leave? NO, that is not work experience. Or were you working remotely or something like that?
It's seems like you just want to get a YES for an answer instead of realizing what you're being told.
Go ahead, apply and misrepresent yourself (probably earn yourself a 5 year ban)... Your loss not anyone else's.
Bottom line is, once again, NO, maternity leave cannot be counted as work experience.

This has nothing to do with immigration. You got your leave which you are entitled to and you still got your job. That's it, that has nothing to do with immigration. I think you can't see the difference.
Maternity LEAVE ≠ WORKING
Even if you're still being paid, and still have your job, doesn't mean you worked or gained any experience.
You were home changing diapers and feeding your baby, that's is not skilled expérience. YOU WERE ON LEAVE!
Why are you even asking this question in the forum and given that you are so stubborn to take an answer other than the want you wanted to get? If you already have all the answers why are you even asking questions?
