Hi all
It has been a while since I last posted here, a few years back before I got residency. It is now time to get citizenship. I have been trying to dowload the PDFs from Canada.ca for the last month but have been getting an error. At first I thought it was my computer but I have now tried it on different devices, as well as different browsers, and get the same message. I have the latest up to date version of Adobe Reader.
This is the message I get, any advice?
"Your PDF reader may not be able to read this document. You can update to the latest version."
You need to download the application to your computer, and open it using Adobe Acrobat Reader. You cannot use Chrome or other browsers to view the application.
If you download and open it by a browser by default, it will give you this message " The document you are trying to load requires Adobe Reader 8 or higher. You may not have the Adobe Reader installed or your viewing environment may not be properly configured to use Adobe Reader. "
You should find the file in where it is downloaded and open it with right mouse click as "Open with Acrobat Reader".
When i click with left button to the link, it gives me an error " Please wait... if this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document". But if I click on the link with right button "Save Link As" - the file will be downloaded. Try this .
