I am an Italian citizen who arrived in Canada on the 10th of January 2022.
During my stay, I will be working for the University of Alberta as a visitor Research (work permit exempt under the Globall skills strategy 120)
The border agent made I mistake on my visitor record. Specifically, he set the expiry date on the 09/04/2022, while the correct expiry date would be 09/05/2022 (4 months) 
How can I solve this?

I have been calling for days and they have never reply. They simply hang the call saying that there are too many requests. I also sent two emails one month ago but I have never received a reply.
I have my flight scheduled on the 13th of April. Which is 4 days after the expiration date of the visitor record. I was considering this option. If I apply online, I must pay a 100$ to send the request (which I am not willing to pay). Maybe, I can try to send a regular mail with the required documentation and ask them to consider the application since the mistake was not mine.
